Job Summary
Reporting into the Product Insights Manager/Senior Insights Analyst, the Insights Analyst will work within the Insights team to provide the business with data and insights on clients, suppliers and internal activity to shape services and strategy and support continuous improvement across the business.

This role is critical to the delivery and development of our research and insights internally, and externally, and in supporting our commercial offering, competitive positioning, and business strategy.

Job Description

  • Conduct ad hoc data and analytics tasks in line ; ensuring stakeholders are kept informed on the progress and any risks and issues clearly communicated.
  • Support project lead on select Insights projects particularly focused around supporting operational excellence and sales enablement strategy.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a suite of enterprise reports and dashboards to improve availability and transparency of information across the business.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to translate business problems and strategic requirements into actionable Insights objectives.
  • Support Product Insights efforts through providing data and analysis on product performance and user experience to inform product development processes.
  • Strive for maximum automation, standardisation and utilisation of reporting and insights in an easily digestible format.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in data analysis
  • Knowledge and interest of the music publishing industry.
  • Keen eye for detail

  • Proven technical and problem solving skills.
  • The ability to present complex ideas in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Ability to work across multiple projects and deliver to deadlines.
  • Experience querying and extracting using SQL
  • Knowledge of BI solutions and data visualisation tools (PowerBI/Tableau/Looker)
  • Familiarity with Python or similar programming language would be desirable.

US Client Manager

The Job

The Client Manager’s central focus is to deliver a first-class management to Sentric Music Group’s key clients with passion, expertise, care and transparency. The role will play an integral part in coordinating our operational stakeholders to collaborate on maximising the client experience for our artists or catalogues, all while keeping clients informed of the comprehensive work we undertake for them in the process.

Strategy Implementation

  • Responsible for the delivery of a client first strategy across the Sentric Music Group in North America
  • Ensure a seamless, first-class experience for all Sentric Music’s clients, from initial dialogue through to signed and ongoing partnerships, using agile work practices to deliver timely service and to align with consistent communication across the business
  • Maintain internal processes to ensure that all company stakeholders and operational teams have an ongoing awareness of Sentric Music Group’s client management strategy, as well as their own part in delivering the service
    • Ensuring that all operational parts of the business are monitored and delivered in line with agreements across the business
  • Ensure the highest level of service and client retention to a with a client first approach
  • Working autonomously and proactively within territory, collaborate with international colleagues in acting as the key client representative in the territory

Client Relationship Management

  • Act as a Client Manager for a select group of clients and oversee client management activities to ensure deliver of service standards:
    • Ensuring that all clients receive proactive communication through regular calls and face-to-face meetings
    • Agree and manage client reviews, to ensure revenues and opportunities are maximised.
    • Delivering and developing comprehensive reporting and maintaining an ongoing dialogue on how to maximise clients publishing earning
    • Using own experience of the territory to ensure proactivity and continuous improvement within the team
  • Proactively feedback territory specific information, data and trends to central team to help consistently improve client satisfaction and experience
  • Contribute actively to Client Management team meetings, contributing knowledge and input from North American clients back to central team to help consistently improve client experience
  • Work closely with key contributors in North America, maintain regular internal calls or meetings to understand developments and priorities within the market

Reporting and Financial

  • Work with wider teams to compile, record and analyse statistical information as required to report Client Management team performance and service delivery to each individual client’s internal stakeholders
    • Continually seek feedback from internal teams to understand key issues, identify opportunities and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the Royalties and Finance team to ensure that clients receive comprehensive financial reporting with set timeframes

Client Management and Development

  • Maintain and develop an established network of labels, publishers, management companies, lawyers and CMOs across the territory
  • Comfortable working with all levels of client, from emerging artist to evergreen
  • Seek opportunities for collaboration and growth across North American territory
  • Act as the key North American internal client advocate and external Sentric advocate
  • Represent Sentric at key events within the territory in collaboration with the North American team

The Job

Reporting to:  Head of Rights 

Department Objectives 

The Revenue Optimisation team sits within Sentric’s Rights division. Its objectives are: 

  • To maximise revenue streams from all potential sources. 

  • To identify areas of potential income growth for client’s catalogues. 

  • To partner with internal teams to ensure client expectations are exceeded, ensuring significant retention and renewal levels are maintained. 

  • To ensure clients are at the centre of all activity, ensuring Sentric’s ethos of fairness, transparency and customer focus is evident at all times. 

Job Summary 

The Manager: Revenue Optimisation will lead on ensuring all opportunities to fully maximise potential sources of publishing related income are identified and maximised. They will use their knowledge of additional royalty generating opportunities to give direction on areas of focus for the Live Claims and Income Tracking teams. They will oversee the work of the audit team (in collaboration with the Copyright Assurance Officer and Insights Team), using data analysis to identify any actions required to ensure everything is in place to allow for maximum revenue optimisation.   

Job Description 

Team Management 

  • Liaise with Team Leaders to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Live Claims, Audit & Activity Tracking teams, using data and experience to identify key areas of focus. 

  • Continually assess the operations of the Live Claims, Audit & Activity Tracking teams and work with management to implement improvements. 

  • Set and ensure KPIs are being met both internally and across collection network. 

  • Work with Head of Rights to ensure the continual development of Copyright team skills.  

Tracking 

  • Exploring all avenues of Revenue Optimisation to ensure our clients catalogues are returning maximum value. 

  • Working with the tracking team to give direction on focus for generating royalties and reviewing results to report back to business. 

  • Identifying and assessing new opportunities for revenue maximisation 

Live Claims 

  • Working with team leader to ensure efficient processing of live claims. 

  • Identifying and assessing potential value and opportunity of live sector 

  • Working with internal stakeholders to develop software systems. 

Audit 

  • Provide direction on focus of audit activity. 

  • Working across teams with result of audit information to ensure actions are taken to optimise revenue. 

  • Work with Insights, Audit & Copyright Officer Assurance Officer to provide reports to Director of Rights on performance of CMO’s in relation to catalogue registrations. 

Qualifications

Skills 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

  • Keen attention to detail, accuracy and detail-driven 

  • Demonstrable, prioritisation, organisation and deadline management skills required. 

  • High level of numeracy 

  • Strong analytical mindset 

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel essential
