JP – AS Video Channel Manager

The Job

1.    Analyse, optimize & implement high impact video monetization strategy
a.    Perform thorough artists’ asset and channel audits to identify opportunities for revenue improvement across video platforms like YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat and others.
b.    Report, analyse and present campaign and overall performance of video to elaborate Business Reviews, using YouTube CMS and other internal or external tools.
c.    Work closely with AS Support and Artist Services team to analyze clients’ concerns and solve complex support topics relating to rights management, video delivery or content optimization, by troubleshooting and investigating client and product, prioritizing and escalating issue reports.
d.    Ensuring that all content that is ingested has relevant rights cleared, and we apply the monetization policy aligned with YouTube’s & In-house guidelines.
e.    Take responsibility for the asset & channel performance, growth & guidelines stability.

2.    Supporting Marketing Teams on Audience Development strategy on Video platforms
a.    Devise and implement audience development strategies from a technical/algorithm perspective on video platforms, to increase viewership & subscribers with a specific focus to reap the most effective commercial return for our artists.
b.    Acts in full coordination with Project Manager and Digital Marketing to provide video optimization and analysis to maximise watch time hours, platform engagement, audience growth, monetization growth, and community interaction, etc.
c.    Work closely with Digital Marketing, Trade Marketing & AS Support teams to ensure full productivity of the department and provide timely recommendations to improve opportunities 

3.    Identify New Trends and Opportunities
a.    Research and present new trends in video ; including topics, format, content rollout, and audience consumption behaviour amongst others.
b.    Work in close coordination with Local Heads of Artist Services & Talent Scouts to identify and pitch potential artists

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English language (writing and speaking) and local language
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as YouTube Channel Manager / Creator Development
  • YouTube certified ; including deep understanding of YouTube ecosystem, having intimate best-in-class knowledge of Content ID, and history of producing deep dive reports using YouTube Analytics and YouTube CMS to produce actionable strategy
  • A team player with a positive attitude, who can work collaboratively across offices
  • A self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment and is highly organized
  • An investigative mindset, clear communication and attention to detail
  • Passionate about Music and all things Digital and Social Media

1. Account Management of Video Channels (YouTube, TikTok etc)

  • Client support and meeting
  • Elaboration of Business Reviews and analysis thanks to the YouTube CMS and our internal tools
  • Support sales team in potential acquisition targets
  • Development and execution of video content strategy to optimize performance across various platforms
  • Application of Best Practices of audience growth solutions for artists’ and labels’ YouTube channels
  • Implementation of video strategies for our producers across video platforms
     

2. Audience Development

  • Strong focus on YouTube Channel Assessment across all video platforms
  • Audience audit across DSPs and social media in order to develop the best content strategy
  • Implementation of video and audience development strategies across video platforms
  • Online rights management of producers’ catalogs on YouTube
  • Effectively assert rights on official and fan-uploaded content to maximize revenue
  • Optimization of YouTube Content ID on audio and video catalogs

 

Qualifications

  • More than 4 years in YouTube/ video platform channel management or demonstrated experience in new media audience development (technology, services, media, entertainment)
  • Passionate about Music and all things Digital and Social Media
  • Excellent knowledge of YouTube Analytics or YouTube CMS
  • Good understanding of video content and content marketing
  • Ability to multitask, priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated, structured and organized priority with excellent time management skills
