The Job

As an Artist Relation Manager, you will lead and support the team in a constantly technological, strategical and mutating environment with changing processes and policies.

You will manage a portfolio of artists and execute our distribution services. You will make sure artists and their team will be satisfied of our distribution services. 

In parallel, you will contribute to business development by identifying, sourcing and negotiating distribution deals with artists.

Thanks to a perfect understanding of our products and clients’ needs, a solid sales strategy, and an in-depth thinking of the music market you will be able to, achieve sales objectives and manage a portfolio of artists. You will directly report into the Head of Sales and Distribution Services.

 

Missions :

1. Sales strategy and artist lookout

2. Services execution and management of a portfolio of Artists

Video & Audience Development Manager (Contractor)

The Job

As a channel manager you will be responsible for a portfolio of artists and labels on all video distribution aspects. You will advise artists and labels on how to make the most of their video and audio products by applying platform best practice, navigating rights management, and looking at opportunities to increase revenue. You will also be the key support person for all video related questions. A strong understanding of the digital music landscape is key, as well as experience navigating YouTube’s CMS and managing accounts.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience at a label or distributor
  • Strong understanding of YouTube’s CMS
  • Digital rights management experience
  • Account management or support experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience (Business, Digital Marketing, Communication or any other related)  
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English
  • Professional level of Deutch would be preferred

Business intelligence sales performance manager

The Job

As Business Intelligence & Sales Performance Manager of the BI & Sales Performance team, your mission is generate strategic insights through social, digital and consumer research tools as well as internal transactional data, creating dashboards, data analytic tools and any other tool that can provide creative solutions to internal daily challenges. Also, you will be an important part of the development and instillment of an analytical and data driven culture in the region. 

You will work a lot in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams – regional and Central. 

Your duties will include but not limited to the following 

  • Explore and extract data available from the APIs of the main DSPs in order to provide relevant information that can create insights for the sales teams and main decision makers (collaboration on the ideation and creation of dashboards and other tools). 

  • Become an in-house expert across all available data sources and help to empower others to make informed decisions based on carefully researched positions (data-driven culture implementation). 

  • Develop creative solutions to fill the internal regional GAPS in analysis and information – mainly using Power BI dashboards. 

  • Identify improvement areas and possible automation in existing tools and dashboards, creating a greater efficiency, productivity, and accuracy. 

  • Identify, analyze, and share market trends and market behavior analysis – Focused on Spanish-Speaking markets. 

  • Act on regional projects and projects in collaboration with the Central. 

  • Advocates for business intelligence solutions that help the organization meet its goals and nurture a data-minded culture inside the company. 

  • Provide support and analytical guidance to the Spanish-speaking regional teams.

Artists & Labels Solutions Manager, BeNeLux (Contractor)

The Job

Within the Label and Artists Solutions team, you will be responsible for a portfolio of strategic clients and define with your manager the best solutions to maximize client satisfactions and services execution. As the clients’ point of contact, you will be responsible to:

  • Day to day digital distribution and services account management of a growing roster of BeNeLux independent record labels and artists 
  • Onboard and train clients to use Believe’s own tech solutions for distribution and marketing (Believe Backstage, Backlink)
  • Support and advise clients on key campaign elements including promotion and streaming strategy.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all marketing and promotional material, and campaign updates to Believe’s internal DSP Editorial & Partnerships (EMP) team to maximise exposure and revenues for our clients.
  • Maintain close relationships and communication with Labels, Artists, their management and marketing teams to become an integral component of each label and artist project and their core team.
  • Assist Believe BeNeLux’s management and sales team in identifying and signing the leading established and emerging BeNeLux record labels
  • Assist Believe BeNeLux’s Artist Talent Scout team in signing the best emerging and established artists into the fast-growing area of artist distribution.
  • Attend meetings, gigs, showcases, conferences and other events to represent Believe.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in the music industry within a label, distributor, management company, DSP, radio/PR company where you were communicating with artists, labels, and the wider BeNeLux music industry on a daily basis. Previous account management experience is a plus.
  • Passion for independent music, artists and good knowledge of the current BeNeLux music market (particularly Hiphop) digital, streaming and global trends.
  • The ability to plan, prioritise and manage multiple labels and artist projects simultaneously and to timeline with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate with clarity and value add through presenting business reviews to your clients with focus on streaming, DSP EMP, and music trends

The Editorial & Marketing Partnerships (E.M.P.) Distribution manager will ensure the promotion of Believe’s artists and labels catalogues on local digital platforms.  

Missions 

Artists & Labels promotion & relationships with local Digital platforms 

  • Benchmarking analysis: insights for marketing actions focused on results and to increase audience (streaming platforms) 

  • Pitch our artists and releases to DSPs via weekly newsletters and priority sheets in order to develop their streams and revenues on digital platforms

The Job

M&A is a strong growth driver for us, and we recently acquired DMC to become the leader in Turkey’s music market.  

As one of our strong competitive advantages is being integrated, we are looking for a Senior Strategic Project Manager based in Istanbul to support on the integration of DMC within Believe, and then to become a key executive in our Turkish business (depending on profile and ramp up, Operations Director type of role).  

This Senior Project Manager will work directly for DMC Deputy CEO and in dotted line for Believe central Post-Merger Integration (PMI) team (based in Paris).  

This position is a unique opportunity for anyone willing to become a leader in the music industry in Turkey, while joining one of the most innovative and fast-growing music tech company in the world.  

Responsibilities 

  • Conduct detailed people, operations, and finance due diligence of DMC (headcount base, organization chart, job roles, business activities, commercial contracts, legal structure, P&L, IT diagnosis) 

  • Support in designing target strategic plan and operating model of DMC within Believe 

  • Project-manage integration execution, coordinating dedicated functional streams (HR, IT, Finance and Operations) 

  • Be the heart of internal communication between DMC and Believe 

  • Become the trusted advisor of both DMC executive committee and Believe PMI and Head of Region teams
