The Job

Au sein du département Contrôle de Gestion, vous rejoindrez l’équipe Group Controlling. Rattaché au Head of Group Controlling, vous évoluerez dans une équipe de 3 personnes sur un poste transverse vous permettant d’obtenir une vision globale des activités du Groupe.

Le Senior Group Controller aura pour mission principales :

  • Elaborer le Business Plan à 5 ans du Groupe (CA, Marge, EBITDA, Cash-flow) et être responsable de ses mises à jour, en collaboration avec la Direction, les équipes Controlling business, Trésorerie etc.

  • Participer à la construction des Business Plan combinés dans le cadre d’opérations M&A, en collaboration avec les Départements M&A et Stratégie-Développement

  • Préparer les analyses et documentation financières pour les publications financières de Believe, notamment les perspectives court et moyen terme du Groupe.

  • Coordonner le processus budgétaire (et ses révisions) du Groupe :

  • Élaborer le budget consolidé du Groupe, l’analyser et rédiger la documentation pour le management

  • S’assurer de la cohérence des données remontées par les équipes controlling business

  • Collaborer avec le département méthodes et référentiels au sein du Contrôle de Gestion, sur le projet de mise en place d’un outil de construction budgétaire et de reporting.

  • Préparer des analyses et supports d’aide à la réflexion/décision sur des projets financiers stratégiques variés à destination de la Direction du Groupe, membres du Comex et du Conseil d’Administration.

En parallèle, vous pourrez également intervenir sur les missions suivantes :

  • S’assurer de la fiabilité du reporting consolidé de gestion du Groupe (mensuels, trimestriels et annuels) destiné à la direction financière et la direction générale s’agissant du P&L jusqu’à l’EBITDA et des CF opérationnels

Qualifications

Diplômé(e) d’une école de commerce, d’ingénieurs ou d’un 3ème cycle universitaire, avec une spécialisation en finance, vous bénéficiez de minimum 6 ans d’expérience professionnelle avec un passage dans un cabinet de conseil (Transactions Services et ou Stratégie) et idéalement en corporate.

Vous êtes doté(e) d’un très bon relationnel et d’un esprit de synthèse et d’analyse, vous avez démontré au cours de précédentes expériences votre goût du travail en équipe dans un environnement dynamique et stimulant.

Vous possédez une bonne maitrise des flux financiers et comptables, avec une première expérience dans l’analyse et la modélisation de business plan et avez une bonne connaissance des IFRS. Vous faites preuve de curiosité intellectuelle et d’une capacité à conceptualiser / formaliser une stratégie.

Vous avez une excellente maitrise d’Excel et PowerPoint. La maitrise de Power BI est un plus.

Un anglais courant à l’oral comme à l’écrit sera un prérequis pour le poste.

Une expérience dans le secteur de l’industrie musicale, les réseaux sociaux, la technologie ou les médias est un plus.

International payroll specialist

The Job

In the context of reinforcement of HR International team you will join our People department and you will report to the HR Admin & Payroll Manager, in Paris. You will be the referent on the admin & payroll subjects for EMEA region (app 250 headcount as for today). 

Your missions will be organized as follow:

1. Payroll

  • Be fully responsible for international payroll cycles for EMEA region (app 250 HC as for today) and support the HRBP for the scope, 
  • Manage the payroll with ADP (control, exchange of variables, etc)
  • Make sure quarterly/annually bonus payout run smoothly
  • Coordinate end of year payroll tasks (depending on the specifity for the territory)

2. HR Administration

Senior business controller – HR OPEX Cost (H/F)

The Job

Au sein du département Contrôle de Gestion, rattaché au Responsable du Contrôle de Gestion des coûts HR Groupe et de la Plateforme Central, vous êtes en charge de : 

  • Être le Business Partner privilégié de responsables de Départements Support au sein de la Central Plateforme (Finance, RH, Légal, Communication…)
  • Assurer le cycle financier (clôture, forecast, budget) de l’ensemble de ces services (centraux et opérationnels en France et à l’international) et consolider les données des filiales du groupe
  • Garantir la fiabilisation des données financières & opérationnelles et la structure analytique dans le respect des normes du groupe
  • Analyser et suivre l’ensemble de la performance financière et opérationnelle des coûts RH et Opex, notamment avec la mise en place de KPIs adaptés aux différentes natures de coûts / départements
  • Créer, produire et diffuser des reportings réguliers pour assister les directeurs / responsables dans le pilotage de leur budget. 
  • Réaliser des analyses ponctuelles et transversales à la demande de la direction générale, directions opérationnelles, de la Direction Financière et des auditeurs externes

FP&A Analyst

The Job

In the current context of high growth and finance transformation, TuneCore is looking for a dynamic FP&A Analyst to join our finance team. The successful candidate will excel at providing thoughtful financial analysis and at creating, maintaining and improving models and financial projections (annual plans and in-year periodic forecasts). This person will be responsible for managing all facets of compensation related budgets (salaries, benefits, bonus, consultants, capitalized labor), working closely with the HR department to track and forecast staff movements (new hires, open positions, turnover, promotions, internal transfers, backfills …).  S/he will also participate in all aspects of financial forecasting and modeling, including revenues, COGS and Opex and will help prepare key monthly financial reports.  This is an amazing opportunity for a finance professional with previous FP&A experience and a strong analytical background to join a high-growth, mission-driven organization.  In addition to partnering and collaborating with all departments within TuneCore, s/he will also work collaboratively with our Paris, France based parent company, Believe SA.

 

The ideal candidate will have a solid experience at managing budgets and forecasts, analyzing and reporting variances and working collaboratively with the finance team.  As a key financial actor, the FP&A Analyst will not only perform their duties efficiently, but will also thrive within TuneCore’s culture of collaboration. S/he will work across the organization to help champion budget ownership with departmental and business unit heads. 

 

The successful candidate will grow the role by collaborating on projects leveraging data in partnership with the Data team and preparing presentations and visualizations identifying trends and relationships between variables. S/he will have a direct impact on the success of TuneCore’s financial department and the FP&A function as a key provider of strategic insights and a contributor to finance transformation efforts.

The tasks, responsibilities, and ownership of this position include, but are not limited to:
 

  • Budgeting – Initially focus on preparation and analysis of compensation, staff related costs and FTE counts (Full Time Equivalent), followed by the progressive inclusion of all revenue streams (subscriptions, commissions) and costs (tech., opex)
  • Incorporate benefits’ enhancement (401k, medical..) into the financial forecast
  • Financial Reporting – Contribute to the analysis of monthly variances versus plan/forecast and help prepare accurate monthly financial reports (‘Monthly TC Financial Pack’, ‘International P&Ls’, ‘Flash report’, ‘Compass’) on a timely basis in order to meet very tight deadlines
  • Partner with the Believe central finance team, especially on staff related issues (staff recharges)
  • Participate in data-driven projects in order to measure cause-and-effect relationships between KPIs and activity drivers
  • Create presentations and visualizations to provide senior leadership and executive teams with actionable insights
  • Finance transformation – Help streamline, simplify, and optimize budgeting tools and processes to achieve efficiency and the ability to scale in a high-growth context (staff turnover).  Participate in broader finance transformation projects such as ERP migration and reporting tool implementation.

Where you’ll be

This person will be responsible for managing all facets of compensation related budgets (salaries, benefits, bonus, consultants, capitalized labor), working closely with the HR department to track and forecast staff movements (new hires, open positions, turnover, promotions, internal transfers, backfills …).  S/he will also participate in all aspects of financial forecasting and modeling, including revenues, COGS and Opex and will help prepare key monthly financial reports.  This is an amazing opportunity for a finance professional with previous FP&A experience and a strong analytical background to join a high-growth, mission-driven organization.  In addition to partnering and collaborating with all departments within TuneCore, s/he will also work collaboratively with our Paris, France based parent company, Believe SA.

 

The ideal candidate will have a solid experience at managing budgets and forecasts, analyzing and reporting variances and working collaboratively with the finance team.  As a key financial actor, the FP&A Analyst will not only perform their duties efficiently, but will also thrive within TuneCore’s culture of collaboration. S/he will work across the organization to help champion budget ownership with departmental and business unit heads. 

 

The successful candidate will grow the role by collaborating on projects leveraging data in partnership with the Data team and preparing presentations and visualizations identifying trends and relationships between variables. S/he will have a direct impact on the success of TuneCore’s financial department and the FP&A function as a key provider of strategic insights and a contributor to finance transformation efforts.

The tasks, responsibilities, and ownership of this position include, but are not limited to:
 

  • Budgeting – Initially focus on preparation and analysis of compensation, staff related costs and FTE counts (Full Time Equivalent), followed by the progressive inclusion of all revenue streams (subscriptions, commissions) and costs (tech., opex)
  • Incorporate benefits’ enhancement (401k, medical..) into the financial forecast
  • Financial Reporting – Contribute to the analysis of monthly variances versus plan/forecast and help prepare accurate monthly financial reports (‘Monthly TC Financial Pack’, ‘International P&Ls’, ‘Flash report’, ‘Compass’) on a timely basis in order to meet very tight deadlines
  • Partner with the Believe central finance team, especially on staff related issues (staff recharges)
  • Participate in data-driven projects in order to measure cause-and-effect relationships between KPIs and activity drivers
  • Create presentations and visualizations to provide senior leadership and executive teams with actionable insights
  • Finance transformation – Help streamline, simplify, and optimize budgeting tools and processes to achieve efficiency and the ability to scale in a high-growth context (staff turnover).  Participate in broader finance transformation projects such as ERP migration and reporting tool implementation.

  • 3+ years of experience in finance and accounting roles
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience with compensation budgeting, modeling and tracking
  • Highly skilled at Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to analyze data and use visualization tools (Tableau, Power-Bi, Power Query)
  • Solid interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Education:

  • BS/BA degree or higher in Accounting or Finance
  • Advanced degree a plus

Legal and Business Affairs specialist M/W – (Music Industry)

The Job

You will be in charge of managing the legal matters of the affiliated companies of the Believe Group in Italy, mostly but not only in contract law and music law. Handling  commercial  agreements, you will ensure the Group’s processes, contract templates and guidelines are applied. You will negotiate contracts and will provide legal support to the Sales teams (Distribution and Artist Services departments). 

Your specific goal is to support the local sales team to sign contracts as quickly as possible, while protecting Believe and complying with Believe’s procedures and Business Rules.

In practical terms, your tasks and responsibilities shall be:

  • Implement the guidelines, processes and policies set up by the Group Central Departements, as adapted if needed to comply with the Italian local laws, and control they are applied;
  • Propose improvements of such policies and processes, to ensure they remain legally compliant in Italy;
  • Review and negotiate contracts with our customers (music labels and artists), or providers when applicable, in accordance with the Group guidelines and in cooperation with the Sales Team, and ensure such contracts are operable under the IT system of the Group. Main core business contracts are about copyright (synchronization licenses, compilation licenses, broadcast agreements, recording rights, publishing rights, etc), services designed for artists, advertising, collective societies;
  • Ensure general contracts administration and coordination (including compiling contract terms for the Royalties team and monitoring contract duration);
  • Liaise with Central Business Legal department to seek approval and ensure contracts are fully operable;
  • Assist on corporate life of the affiliates of the Group located in Italy and on local corporate operations;
  • Legal monitoring on the Italy laws, interface of the Group for any local legal matter and risk prevention
  • Liaise will local external attorneys.

You will report in solid line to the Believe General Manager Operations in Italy and in dotted line to the General Counsel of Believe based in France. You will work on a day to day basis with Italian teams (Sales Team, Ops Team, Finance team, etc) and with the Central Legal Department located in France.

You will have a proactive approach and will pay constant attention to support the needs and deployment of the Group, while you will protect its interests. You are cooperative and straightforward and at the same time you listen to the Sales Team needs. From this standpoint your activity will be monotored through KPIs tracking. Qualifications

You have a Master degree in IP law and contract law (Italian laws)

You have minimum 3 years as a lawyer in the music sector, in an international company would be highly appreciated.
