Group Financial Controller (H/F)

The Job

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB 

Within the Controlling department, you will join the Group Controlling team. Reporting to the Head of Group Controlling, you will work in a team of 5 people in a cross-functional position, giving you a global view of the Group’s activities.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES 

The Group Controller’s main tasks will be to:

Budget & Business Plan

  • Support Budget revision and reforecast process with models and analysis required.
  • Participate in Business Plan updates (Revenue, Margin, EBITDA, Cash-flow) collaborating with various departments (Controlling Business, M&A, Treasury and Consolidation teams)

Monthly Closing

  • Ensure consistency of data reported by Controlling Business teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement on revenue analysis to produce insights into performance.
  • Prepare and develop monthly presentations and supporting schedules, together with key messages around performance.
  • Prepare key strategic and adhoc analysis for Group Top Management, Comex members and the Board of Directors.

 

 

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS 

  • Master’s degree in business administration, finance or engineering 
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Finance.  “Big 4” experience is an asset.
  • Outstanding technical/conceptual understanding of finance and valuation 
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; strong analytical, report writing and communication skills.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.

  • Ability to build and leverage collaborative relationships in the business, by providing other Finance teams with support and advice where needed, as well as to probe and challenge information to gain better knowledge and insight into the business.
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels and across functions; with Finance teams from a wide range of countries, requiring varying degree of support and guidance, as well as with Executive management team members.
  • Strong attention to detail.  Enjoys problem solving, able to multitask and work to strict deadlines.
  • Strong team spirit and initiative.

Contract Management – Senior Administrator

The Job

As part of the Contract and Account Management team, Believe is currently looking for a Contract Management – Senior Administrator based in India. Working within our international CAM team based in Luxembourg , the candidate will perform the following tasks in accordance with the established work rules and procedures for all Business Units which includes: 

  • Reviewing, validating, and electronically signing contracts, contractual annexes and amendments for LAS and Artist Services.
  • Checking producer data and legal entities in contracts as per KYC procedures.
  • Checking contractual terms and related approvals.
  • Act as business partner to support Sales teams in the contractual workflow (CLM and Ticketing Support).
  • Analysis and processing of contractual deviations from standard clauses.
  • First-level analysis of contract operability to ensure proper execution of the contractual commitments.
  • Manage the contractual workarounds by respecting SLA’s and committing to improve KPI’s and Signature lead times.
  • Management of contractual data in our back-office tools (Account settings, Royalty tool settings in « Details »).
  • Processing of ad-hoc requests to assist sales/legal teams (contract migration, amendment campaigns/correction of contractual data, onboardings etc.).

    • Bachelor’s degree 
    • Keen interest in learning about music industry, new technologies, digital music platforms etc. 
    • Proactive and willing to improve process and tools. 
    • Organized, reliable, and independent. 
    • Motivated and curious, you know how to prioritize the work given.

    Contrôleur de Gestion IT (H/F/N)

    The Job

    Au sein de la direction du Contrôle de gestion, rattaché au contrôleur de gestion senior dédié à la Tech et en étroite collaboration avec les équipes métiers, vos principales missions sont : 

    • Participer à l’élaboration et au suivi des budgets et re-prévisions (Forecast) du périmètre 
    • Contribuer aux clôtures comptables (évaluation des provisions et des immobilisations, …) dans le respect des normes financières des principes communs au groupe. 
    • Participer à l’élaboration/mise en place des nouveaux outils et process de suivi financier (EPM, P2P tool…)
    • Mener les analyses mensuelles de performances de la direction par l’étude des écarts des résultats par rapport aux objectifs.
    • Assurer le suivi financier des projets, des engagements et de leur affectation analytique 
    • Assurer le contrôle et suivi des effectifs internes comme externes 
    • Assurer la production mensuelle d’états, de tableaux de bord et KPI relatifs à l’activité 

    Vous contribuerez également à des études ponctuelles et au développement qualitatif et quantitatif des reportings et analyses. 

    Qualifications

    Diplômé(e) d’une école de commerce ou d’un 3ème cycle universitaire, avec une spécialisation en finance, vous bénéficiez de 2 à 3 ans d’expérience pertinente en contrôle de gestion ou cabinet d’audit. 

    Vous êtes doté(e) d’un très bon relationnel et d’un esprit de synthèse et d’analyse, vous avez démontré au cours de précédentes expériences votre goût du travail en équipe dans un environnement dynamique et stimulant. 

    Vous avez une excellente maitrise d’Excel et PowerPoint. La maitrise de Power BI est un plus.  

    Un anglais courant à l’oral comme à l’écrit est un prérequis pour le poste.

      Comptable Senior (H/F)

      The Job

      Job Description

      En rejoignant le département Finance et sous la responsabilité directe du responsable comptable France, vous contribuerez à l’expansion de Believe. Dans le cadre d’un CDI en remplacement, vous aurez les responsabilités suivantes :

      • Comptabilité filiale : Aujourd’hui le département effectue la comptabilité de 2 filiales et l’équipe est constituée d’une collaboratrice. A ce titre, le rôle a pour objectif de garantir la production de comptes fiables & fidèles, de la tenue de la comptabilité au quotidien, en passant par la production du bilan et du compte de résultat, cash-flow en fin de mois et la revue des balances de fin de mois, et du travail de la collaboratrice.
      • Clôture mensuelle : Vous  contribuez à l’amélioration des process de clôture mensuelle, avec la mise en place d’outil de suivi et reporting sur le comptes de bilan et de revue de P&L. Vous améliorez de manière proactive et continue ses propres méthodes, process et outils de travail, ainsi que ceux de ses équipes. Vous pilotez les arrêtés de comptes suivant le calendrier du groupe, veillez à la qualité de l’information comptable et au respect des délais.

      Join our team as a Senior Accountant, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the financial integrity of our organization. Working closely with the Controller, you’ll drive month-end closing procedures and champion meticulous documentation of our accounting policies.       Salary: $83,000-95,000

      Responsibilities:

      • Assist with month-end closing tasks, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
      • Develop and maintain company accounting policies and procedures.
      • Stay current with the latest accounting principles and compliance standards.
      • Document and execute internal control processes, identify potential risks, and suggest risk mitigation strategies.
      • Review tax filings and ensure accuracy of current and deferred tax provision calculations.

      Manager, Fraud Prevention

      The Job

      The Manager, Fraud Prevention will liaise directly with TuneCore artists, TuneCore’s store partners, and a number of internal teams for all issues related to streaming and financial fraud. They will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Fraud Prevention team, and work collaboratively with TuneCore’s Legal, Product, Artist Support, and other Operations teams to ensure the integrity of our processes, policies, and procedures.

      Additionally, they will be responsible for assisting and leading activities around account investigations, abnormal or suspicious account activity relating to account takeover and distribution, monitoring streaming reports for trends of abuse, managing withdrawals, and chargebacks. 

      The ideal candidate should be a seasoned operations professional with demonstrated experience managing/leading teams and working directly with clients, and has a deep knowledge of process, policy, and procedure with experience in fraud or trust & safety in the music industry. They are a strategic thinker, but can also roll up their sleeves, dig in and support the team to get the job done.

      Salary Range: $85,000-90,000

      Specific Duties:

      • Identify trends and key insights to help minimize fraud, including but not limited to reports of artificial streaming or streaming fraud/abuse, suspicious account creation, copyright infringement.
      • Research investigate patterns to prevent unsanctioned activity.
      • Communicate with customers, partners, and third parties via email and phone regarding suspicious activity/inquiries, addressing issues with speed and efficiency and ensuring that queues in Zendesk are closely monitored.
      • Handle escalations and questions from Fraud Prevention Specialists.
      • Assist with reviewing customer withdrawal requests and evaluate withdrawals for suspicious and malicious activity.
      • Train new agents on fraud prevention and monitoring concepts and procedures, and work with management on developing and refining strategies to support organic growth with limited resources, increase efficiency of the team and processes, and expand our coverage to new products and needs.
      • Provide reporting on customer and product issues.
      • Work with a team on special projects as needed.
      • Report technical and communication issues in order to better service TuneCore artists.
      • Maintain accurate SOP documentation of all activity.
      • Perform other duties as assigned by management

      Knowledge/Certifications:

      • Strong proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets
