Label Manager (Pop/Alt. Pop)

The Job

Within the Alternative & Pop label team you will be responsible for developing, growing and managing a roster of projects with a focus on distribution and streaming strategy. You will report directly to the Head of Alternative and Pop and Head of Distribution Services and work directly with Believe’s internal UK distribution and wider internal teams across Streaming Marketing, Analytics, Video, and Sync as well as interaction with TuneCore and our Artist Services’ Marketing, International, A&R, Digital Marketing departments.

Responsibilities

  • Day to day account management of a growing roster of labels focused, but not limited to alternative and pop genres.
  • Onboard and train clients to use Believe’s own tech solutions for distribution and marketing (Believe Backstage, Backlink)
  • Support and advise clients on key campaign elements including promotion and streaming strategy.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all marketing and promotional material, and campaign updates to Believe’s internal streaming marketing and sync teams.
  • Maintain close relationships and communication with labels, their management and marketing teams to become an integral component of each artist project and their core team.
  • Identify and assist Believe UK’s scouting team 
  • Work closely with and assist senior members of the team on high-level projects.
  • Attend meetings, gigs, showcases, conferences and other events to represent Believe.
  • Feedback and contribute to the general development of the Distribution and alternative/ pop department

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2-years experience in the music industry within a label, distributor or technology-facing role at a management organisation with proven track record developing artists or labels on the alternative/ pop genres
  • Experience in physical products (CD/LP), understanding of retail marketing, stock control and reporting, creative input and management of the timelines needed. 
  • Previous account management experience is a plus.
  • Passion for alternative/ pop music, new artists and good knowledge of the current UK and global music market and trends.
  • The ability to plan, prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously and to timelines with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to the changing market.
  • Extremely digital savvy and quick to adopt trends.
  • Artist focussed and passionate about the Independent Music Industry with a good knowledge of the independent ecosystem and digital landscape.
  • Strong relationship building skills and a team-oriented approach.
  • Creative interest in digital technologies and digital marketing opportunities especially the streaming landscape.
  • A diligent self-starter who is ready to learn and will also take the initiative

Business Developer – Label (M/W/N)

The Job

As a Business development junior, part of our distribution team, your mission is to source, attract and sign new partners (artists and labels) in a constantly mutating environment.

You will work within a team of sales and account managers in charge of identifying leads and convert them to customers with passion, innovation, care, and transparency.

Your duties will include but not limited to the following

  • Sales and sourcing strategy
    • Support and execute the sales strategy and roadmap

A&R Manager

The Job

As the Artist Relation Manager in Poland for Believe you will define and implement the sourcing and acquisitions strategy for artist and labels. Utilizing your network and artist relations, you will be able to source and identify artists & labels who would benefit from joining our Polish division. Carrying out first discussions with potential clients and their management, you will be able to identify their needs and share the perfect offer with local heads of distribution and Head of A&R. You will participate in the contract negotiation with the local team.

In addition, you will be responsible for the day to day management of our artists and labels, delivering high-level strategic support and advice, working within the cross-regional team and organization, reporting directly to Head of A&R and dotted line reports to Regional Head of Label and Artist Solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Identify key artists and labels in Poland as potential signings:

· Contribute to company growth by sourcing label & artist leads for the regional roster

· Monitor Believe analytics and public tool analytics for talent detection.

· Carrying out first discussions with the artists and their management to pitch our services and follow up through to deal negotiations.

2. Qualify artist & labels potential, tailor offer to services expectations:

· Assess artists & labels potential, estimate deal value, and collect information to manage the sales pipeline.

CRM Manager

The Job

In this dynamic, hands-on role, you will be responsible for maximising the ROI on the CRM system by enhancing understanding, ensuring consistent usage, promoting adoption, maintaining data integrity, and facilitating development requests across Sentric/Believe. You will work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, acting as a crucial link between technical and business development, client services, and other teams to ensure technology solutions are practical and aligned with business needs. Key Relationships 

  • Internal Stakeholder Management: Work closely with key stakeholders including the Client Services Support Manager, Marketing team, Business Development team, Sales Operations, Client Services Manager, and the Insights team to ensure alignment and effective collaboration across all CRM-related initiatives. 

  • External Stakeholder Management: Liaise with external stakeholders, including the CRM account and sales manager, as well as other third-party suppliers, to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment in the development and enhancement of the CRM system 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead CRM Adoption: Champion the consistent and appropriate adoption of the CRM system across Sentric, ensuring that its value is widely understood and embraced by all teams. 

  • Business and Process Change Implementation: Lead on implementing business and process changes, providing strategic input and practical solutions related to the CRM system. 

  • Security Measures: Create and maintain security measures across the CRM to protect sensitive data, approval hierarchy and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

  • Dashboard and Reporting: In collaboration of with Client Services Support Manager take ownership of CRM specific reporting across service, marketing and sales processes that sit within the CRM.  

  • Process Improvement: Continually review, maintain, and enhance processes within the CRM that deliver measurable benefits to both staff and members, identifying areas where the system is underutilised or can be improved. 

  • Automation Development: Collaborate with marketing, business development, client services, sync, and legal teams to develop and implement automated CRM solutions that streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and drive targeted outcomes across these functions. 

  • Development Prioritisation: Work with teams across Sentric to identify and prioritise areas for CRM development that will have the most significant impact, whether on customer satisfaction, revenue, or improved workflows. 

Qualifications

  • 3 – 5 years of proven experience within CRM management, ownership or a CRM solutions implementation role.  

  • Strong understanding of CRM platforms preferably experiences with HubSpot and/or Salesforce, data management, and system integration. 

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical requirements into business needs and vice versa. 

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships. 

  • Ability to develop and implement training programs and communication plans. 

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

The Editorial & Marketing Partnerships (E.M.P.) Distribution Specialist will ensure the promotion of Believe’s artists and labels catalogues on local digital platforms. .

 

  MISSIONS: 

 

1. Digital Retail marketing and promotion : 

  • Develop and grow relationships with local contacts at digital platforms, and explore ways to further our catalogue visibility
  • Pitch our artists and priority releases to DSPs via weekly newsletters and priority sheets in order to develop their streams and revenues on digital platforms 
  • Develop strong knowledge of key playlists and how to ensure promotion within these playlists
  • Contribute to create and execute innovative & creative marketing partnerships with digital platforms 
  • Promote key International releases as well as local priorities, in coordination with our central team

2. Internal Process: 

  • Work closely with Head of EMP to ensure the Editorial and marketing partnerships strategy is adhered to on a local level, with a strong attention to internal processes.

Sales Strategy and Operations Manager

The Job

Reporting to the Director of Artist Services, your main missions are the following:

Go To Market:

  • Deploy and adjust centrally designed sales processes to ensure sales effectiveness and customer satisfaction
  • Identify opportunities to improve the productivity and efficiency of the sales activity + marketing teams.
  • Ensure the adoption of key tools for the sales population (sales dashboards, business review tools, scouting tools, smart discovery etc.) and be the referent on all internal processes
  • Be the privileged support point for the sales teams, to understand and frame their business needs and translate them into an operational deployment strategy
  • In conjunction with the Central GoToMarket team, implement and continuously improve front/back office processes.
  • Define, implement and monitor KPIs and regular reporting to drive business performance and project success
  • Identify local needs on specific trainings, processes to clarify, tools to adopt etc. and ensure that all the trainings defined centrally are followed and understood by the local teams
  • Support communication on GTM topics in accordance with Central Sales & Marketing Communication
  • Communicate to both international and central teams about ongoing issues/internal decisions made

Sales Development:

  • Research and analyze opportunities to drive market growth (explore new verticals and industries to expand revenue streams; optimize existing models to improve profitability)
  • Advise management on business transformation: marketing, Sync, Pub setup integration.
  • Run strategic analytics initiatives (market assessment, competition analysis, collect and share business news and trends)
  • Run market, competition and product research (Sales Development)

Sr. Manager, Partner Specialist

The Job

TuneCore’s Artist and Partner Relations team works with our US artist community, DSP and industry partners, and internal teams to provide best-in-class digital distribution and editorial support.

Reporting to the Head of Artist and Partner Relations, the Senior Manager – Partner Specialist  will join our team and drive the company’s commitment to the financial growth of independent artists and labels through streaming technologies and strategies.

The Senior Manager – Partner Specialist is responsible for the coordination, management and execution of all streaming strategies, at scale, and pilot programs, and is the day-to-day contact for our DSP partners. The role is key to identifying and capitalizing on DSP opportunities that drive successful outcomes, foster artist development and create value for our artists, label clients, and the company alike.

The ideal candidate will manage strong relationships with our DSP partners, key artists, and label clients, and maximize the performance of artists’ content across platforms. The Senior Manager – Partner Specialist will coordinate listening parties and pilot programs, and track and analyze performance, and report findings and recommendations.

The Senior Manager – Partner Specialist will leverage strategic insights and data and have a strong understanding of the digital music landscape, an aptitude for analytics, and enthusiasm for digital trends and technology, while supporting the goals of the Artist and Partner Relations team and TuneCore at large. Central to our mission, this role supports artist development and our label clients.

Independent music industry landscapes are constantly evolving. The successful Senior Manager – Partner Specialist will demonstrate accountability and ownership through proactive communication, commitment to results, and a problem-solving mentality to ensure mutual success and client satisfaction.

The tasks and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
 

Operational:

  • Work directly with labels, artists and managers to collect information, in order to organize for efforts (eg. newsletters, pitch decks, etc) across streaming and mobile platforms (Spotify, Apple, Amazon, Deezer,etc)

  • Work with editorial heads of digital retailers to ensure they are aware of priority releases, optimizing promotional information that is available and ensuring strong release coverage for TuneCore artists

  • Pitch upcoming releases for artists across DSPs (streaming, mobile)

  • Maximize TuneCore artist exposure and revenue across digital platforms through high-quality weekly pitches, listening sessions & meetings

  • Work closely with local DSPs – gauge genre movement, top release movement, introduction of new genres

  • Work closely with international Heads of TuneCore to monitor the same in international markets

  • Processing and reporting of playlists each week

  • Monitoring and summary of schedules for outings, concerts, artist events

Strategy:

  • Work directly with TuneCore Head of APR, CRO, and relevant Believe teams to prioritize and align DSP initiatives

  • Work with the Believe Digital Marketing Team on the analysis of marketing campaigns on Spotify and other DSPs

  • Build credible relationships with senior leaders at DSPs; maintain network within music industry to keep up with best practices, 

  • Understand distribution business entirety and participate in determining team OKRs for APR

  • Educate internal teams on artist & label needs

  • Educate TuneCore artists on best streaming practices, US streaming market and International streaming market

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in the music industry 
  • Deep knowledge of the current and global music market, digital landscape, and trends

  • Passion for independent music 

  • Existing network of industry contacts (including key DSP partners) 

  • Ability to think outside the box and a deep desire to test new tactics, campaigns and strategies 

  • Proven experience in artist development, with a track record of developing and executing successful release strategies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders

  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven mindset and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies

  • Creative problem-solver with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
