Label Manager b:electronic

The Job

Within the b:electronic label team you will be responsible for developing, growing and managing a roster of projects with a focus on distribution and streaming strategy. You will report directly to the Head of b:electronic UK and Head of Distribution Services and work directly with Believe’s internal UK distribution and wider internal teams across Streaming Marketing, Analytics, Video, and Sync as well as interaction with TuneCore and our Artist Services’ Marketing, International, A&R, Digital Marketing departments.

Responsibilities

  • Day to day account management of a growing roster of labels focused, but not limited to electronic/dance genre.
  • Onboard and train clients to use Believe’s own tech solutions for distribution and marketing (Believe Backstage, Backlink)
  • Support and advise clients on key campaign elements including promotion and streaming strategy.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all marketing and promotional material, and campaign updates to Believe’s internal streaming marketing and sync teams.
  • Maintain close relationships and communication with labels, their management and marketing teams to become an integral component of each artist project and their core team.
  • Identify and assist Believe UK’s scouting team 
  • Work closely with and assist senior members of the team on high-level projects.
  • Attend meetings, gigs, showcases, conferences and other events to represent Believe.
  • Feedback and contribute to the general development of the Distribution and dance/electronic department

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2-years experience in the music industry within an electronic/dance label, distributor or technology-facing role at a management organisation.
  • Previous account management experience is a plus.
  • Passion for dance and electronic music, new artists and good knowledge of the current UK and global music market and trends.
  • The ability to plan, prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously and to timelines with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to the changing market.
  • Extremely digital savvy and quick to adopt trends.
  • Artist focussed and passionate about the Independent Music Industry with a good knowledge of the independent ecosystem and digital landscape.
  • Strong relationship building skills and a team-oriented approach.

Editorial & Marketing Partnerships Specialist

The Job

The Editorial & Marketing Partnerships (E.M.P.) Specialist will coordinate and execute Believe’s Trade Marketing activities for the Distribution branch and ensure the best promotion of Believe’s catalogues on local digital services.

Artists & Labels promotion & relationships with US Digital platforms:

  • Maintain close relationship with key local contacts at digital platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Pandora, YouTube Music, TikTok, etc)

Editorial & Marketing Partnerships Manager

The Job

Reporting to the Director of Artist Services, this role is tasked with with driving and optimising digital streaming campaigns and maximizing the visibility and reach of our artists across major DSPs and shortform platforms through strategic planning, execution, data analysis, and close collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Tasks include:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with artist partnerships managers and key editors across all DSPs and shortform platforms

Director, Brand Marketing

The Job

As the Director of Brand Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive brand strategies to enhance brand awareness, reputation, and equity. You will lead a team of marketing professionals to drive integrated marketing campaigns that align with the company’s objectives and resonate with target audiences and will report to the VP of Global Marketing.   • Brand Strategy Development:

Where you’ll be

This role will be based out of our Brooklyn office. TuneCore operates on an in-office and remote hybrid model giving our teams flexibility and choice of how they work. When our employees return to the office post COVID they will have the option to work predominantly remotely and work from the office 7 days per month on a flexible schedule organized at the department level.

Shapers Program

BE THE CHANGE 

As part of our commitment to gender equity in the industry, TuneCore and Believe partnered with leading marketing intelligence and consulting firm MIDiA Research in 2021 for a groundbreaking study on the underrepresentation of female creators in the music industry.  For the fourth annual study, BE THE CHANGE: Gender Equity in Music, MIDiA Research surveyed more than 4,100 members of the music industry—with a predominant focus on creators—in an effort to better understand their struggles and provide tangible strategies to help them overcome their challenges. Our intent for this study is to inspire meaningful change in the industry.

TH (South) – Business Developer Associate, Label

The Job

Within the Label and Artists Solutions team, you will contribute to Believe’s success by acquiring new clients and implementing local sales strategy, designed with the Business Development Leader, through:

  • Sourcing and building a pipeline of new artists and/or labels
  • Negotiating deals with qualified leads, in compliance with defined business rules, complexity of local market
  • Adapting to service innovations and increasing complexity in deal structure
  • Monitoring your performance using tools and dashboards
  • Ensuring streamline communication with all stakeholders
  • Ensuring the best transition with the team that will handle customer’s day-to-day relationship and support (especially account management team)

Qualifications

  • More than 4 years of proven track record in sales and negotiation in a fast-growing environment (technology, services, media, entertainment)
  • Knowledge of digital ecosystem and passionate about Music
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated, structured and organized priority with excellent time management skills
