The Job

As a General Manager, your mission is to oversee local strategies set by the Regional Managing Director, liaising with company headquarters. You will be reporting to the Regional Managing Director (from now on MD) and responsible for the efficiency of the business in a constantly mutating environment.  

You will support the management of a team currently composed of people in the following functions: Digital Distribution, Artist Services Distribution, Marketing and Communications, people passionate with music in charge of delivering the best marketing services with passion, innovation, care, and transparency.  

Your duties will include but not limited to the following

Develop the Believe Mexico activity in order to position Believe as a key leader in the Mexican music industry. 

  • Develop senior leadership within the current organization and participate in its completion if necessary  

  • Recommend the proper organization to best sign, sell and serve 

  • Set and drive OKR management with business heads 

Build and execute the A&R and service strategy for artist and label services and distribution 

  • Lead the development of Believe Mexico within Believe Group organization, from a business, service and financial standpoint 

  • Build A&R strategy (music genre, type of deal, services, pricing, economics…) 

  • Build P&L aligned with sales strategy and manage to budget 

  • Further build the artist service brand and identity 

  • Identify and develop more genres to be developed if any 

  • Recommend to Believe’s central M&A team M&A opportunity to accelerate our growth 

Execute the “sell and serve” strategy for Artist development and our distribution strategy. As such, you will have primary responsibility the Mexican global P&L of the business. Believe executes on a centralized model adapted to local specificities. 

  • Align execution with sales and marketing strategy with your local heads of business 

  • Inspire Believe’s marketing teams on the development and execution of creative, innovative and impactful campaigns 

  • Organize team work locally and with central to optimize the A&R strategy and our “sell and serve” efficiency 

  • Organize internal, external communication & branding to support and develop business 

Create and deploy performance measurement for the business.

As Global Head of Video & Audience Development, you will be responsible for supporting a team of Channel Managers across 50 countries and co-manage the team in building the best video services. Thanks to a perfect understanding of our products and clients’ needs, a solid marketing strategy, and in-depth thinking of the music market, you should be able to ensure our teams build the best audience development strategy for our artists & labels and help our local Heads of Video build their video strategy according the to the local market needs. 

 

Missions: 

1/ Strategy Execution & performance Analysis 

  • Implement video strategy for department 

  • Build and follow quarterly OKRs & relevant KPIs for the CM team  

  • Work with Central and local Senior Management to determine business objectives across international territories 

  • Adjust and ensure execution of video services

  • Identifier de nouvelles opportunités de synchronisation sur le marché et prendre des mesures pour s’assurer que le catalogue de Believe est pleinement représenté dans ces domaines.
  • De temps à autre, rencontrer des clients nouveaux et existants à l’extérieur du bureau, y compris lors de concerts et d’autres événements de l’industrie.

Vous justifiez d’une expérience de 1 à 2 ans sur des missions similaires liées au métier de la synchronisation. Au cours de vos expériences vous avez développé les expertises suivantes:

US Client Manager – Sentric

The Job

The Client Manager’s central focus is to deliver a first-class relationship and reporting service to Sentric Music Group’s key clients. The role will play an integral part in coordinating our operational stakeholders to maximise claims and revenue for our catalogues, all while keeping clients informed of the comprehensive work we undertake for them in the process.

 

Strategy Implementation

  • Responsible for the operational delivery of Client Management service strategy across the Sentric Music Group, as set out in liaison with the Head of Client Management and Business Development team
  • Ensure a seamless, first-class experience for all Sentric Music’s clients, from initial dialogue through to signed and ongoing partnerships, using agile work practices to deliver service timely and to set standards with consistent communication
  • Contribute to the development of processes to ensure that all company stakeholders and operational teams have an ongoing awareness of Sentric Music Group’s client management strategy, as well as their own part in delivering the service

    As an A&R Talentscout Manager, you will support the team in a constantly technological, strategical and mutating environment with changing processes and policies.

    Thanks to a perfect understanding of our products and client’s needs, a solid customer success strategy, and an in-depth thinking of the music market, you can achieve revenue objectives and manage a portfolio of artists. You will directly report into Head of Artist Solutions India & South Asia.

    Your Role & Missions:

    Your role is to source, attract and sign new partners (artists or labels)

    We expect you to be able to identify the best new leads and convert them to customers

    You will contribute to new clients acquisition and implementation of the local sales strategy, designed with Business Development Leader, by :

    • Sourcing and building a pipe of new artists and/or labels,
    • Identify and focus on the best leads
    • Negotiating deals with such leads, in compliance with :
      • defined business rules
      • complexity of local market,
      • real needs from the lead
    • Adapting to service innovations and increasing complexity in deal structure
    • Monitoring your performance using tools and dashboards
    • Ensuring the best transition with the team that will handle customer’s day-to-day relationship and support (especially account management team)
