The Job

As a General Manager, your mission is to oversee local strategies set by the Regional Managing Director, liaising with company headquarters. You will be reporting to the Regional Managing Director (from now on MD) and responsible for the efficiency of the business in a constantly mutating environment.  

You will support the management of a team currently composed of people in the following functions: Digital Distribution, Artist Services Distribution, Marketing and Communications, people passionate with music in charge of delivering the best marketing services with passion, innovation, care, and transparency.  

Your duties will include but not limited to the following

Develop the Believe Mexico activity in order to position Believe as a key leader in the Mexican music industry. 

  • Develop senior leadership within the current organization and participate in its completion if necessary  

  • Recommend the proper organization to best sign, sell and serve 

  • Set and drive OKR management with business heads 

Build and execute the A&R and service strategy for artist and label services and distribution 

  • Lead the development of Believe Mexico within Believe Group organization, from a business, service and financial standpoint

  • Build P&L aligned with sales strategy and manage to budget 

  • Further build the artist service brand and identity

Execute the “sell and serve” strategy for Artist development and our distribution strategy. As such, you will have primary responsibility the Mexican global P&L of the business. Believe executes on a centralized model adapted to local specificities. 

  • Align execution with sales and marketing strategy with your local heads of business 

  • Inspire Believe’s marketing teams on the development and execution of creative, innovative and impactful campaigns 

  • Organize team work locally and with central to optimize the A&R strategy and our “sell and serve” efficiency 

  • Organize internal, external communication & branding to support and develop business 

Create and deploy performance measurement for the business.

The Job

As a Sales manager, part of our distribution team, your mission is to source, attract and sign new partners (artists and labels) in a constantly mutating environment.

You will work within a team of sales and account managers in charge of identifying leads and convert them to customers with passion, innovation, care, and transparency.

Your duties will include but not limited to the following

  • Sales and sourcing strategy
    • Support and execute the sales strategy and roadmap
    • Identify and share best practices with the team and the group
    • Contribute to building and maintaining an excellent network in the music industry based on reputation and quality of service
    • Apprehend the complexity of the local market
  • Sales activity
    • Identify new business opportunities to initiate and close complex deals with an innovative approach
    • Execute the sales process and completion of deals aligned with the company procedures (salesforce, contract signatures) and business rules to guarantee successful relationship

US Client Manager – Sentric

The Job

The Client Manager’s central focus is to deliver a first-class relationship and reporting service to Sentric Music Group’s key clients. The role will play an integral part in coordinating our operational stakeholders to maximise claims and revenue for our catalogues, all while keeping clients informed of the comprehensive work we undertake for them in the process.

 

Strategy Implementation

  • Responsible for the operational delivery of Client Management service strategy across the Sentric Music Group, as set out in liaison with the Head of Client Management and Business Development team
  • Ensure a seamless, first-class experience for all Sentric Music’s clients, from initial dialogue through to signed and ongoing partnerships, using agile work practices to deliver service timely and to set standards with consistent communication
  • Contribute to the development of processes to ensure that all company stakeholders and operational teams have an ongoing awareness of Sentric Music Group’s client management strategy, as well as their own part in delivering the service
  • Ensuring that all operational parts of the business are monitored and delivered in line with agreements across the business

Client Relationship Management

  • Contribute to the development of Sentric Music Group’s processes surrounding client interaction, financial reporting and relationship-building. Drive a high level of operational focus, co-operation and inter-communication between the various departments in order to service clients through involving, but not limited to, Business Development, Business Affairs, Client Management, Rights and Royalty teams.
  • Act as a Client Manager for a select group of clients and oversee client management activities to ensure deliver of service standards:
    • Ensuring that all clients receive proactive communication through regular calls and meetings
    • Delivering and developing comprehensive reporting and maintaining an ongoing dialogue on how to maximise clients publishing earning
    • Using own experience of the territory to ensure proactivity and continuous improvement within the team
  • Contribute actively to Client Management team meetings, help formulate clear actions, goals and targets for the team with a focus on delivery for managed clients
  • Ensure regular meetings are held with other operational and territorial stakeholders and teams, setting out clear actions and addressing any barriers for delivering client services to the high standards set. To be able to report and inform the rest of the global team on any territorial information, changes and improvements

 

Reporting and Financial

  • Work with wider teams to compile, record and analyse statistical information as required to report Client Management team performance and service delivery to each individual client’s internal stakeholders
  • Work closely with the Royalties and Finance team to ensure that clients receive comprehensive financial reporting with set timeframes

 

People Management and Development

  • Day to day management, coaching and support for the Client Management team in the US territory.

    Reporting to our Business Development Leader, your objective is to develop believe’s portfolio of artists in Italy. You are responsible for the whole process from sourcing to attending meetings, to deal negociation and signing. You will also help in building Believe’s scouting strategy.

    Label Operations Specialist

    The Job

    Working alongside our DSP EMP team, the Label Operations Manager works across all artists on the Believe UK Artist Services roster. Allowing them to have an impact across a wide range of marketing campaigns.

    The role is tasked with advising the Marketing Team on strategic and promotional opportunities across the digital and physical landscape. As well as ensuring safe delivery of all digital and physical products, and registration of Neighbouring Rights.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Day to day account management and responsibility for Believe UK’s growing Artist Services roster, working in-depth across all genres and campaigns.
    • Alongside our DSP EMP teams, support and advise the Marketing Team on key campaign elements including promotion, streaming, strategy and physical marketing.
    • Drive artist campaigns with our DSP and retail marketing teams to maximise UK and global campaign results, and to help deliver exciting and wide-reaching marketing opportunities.
    • Work closely with the internal and external supply chain partners and teams across digital and physical products.
    • Deliver regular best practices to the Artist Services Marketing Team, educating Project Managers on changes in delivery requirements and ensure product deliveries match the most recent requirements.

    • Audit and Identify Emerging to Top Artists trends

    Partner / Senior Partner – Business Enablement & Go-to-marketing

    The Job

    Within the Label & Artist Solutions, the aim of this role is to ensure that all the sales functions work efficiently by delivering best-in-class, timely and reliable local go-to-market strategies and sales enablement.

    With good understanding of Believe’s products, offers, value chain and processes, this role will ensure that the group processes are correctly applied in local markets and provide regular feedback and propositions on how to improve and adapt to the local business.

    There will also be a need to build a strong relationship with other central stakeholders to create a perfect alignment between local specificities and central directions.

    The role, based in Mumbai, will report to the Director – Label & Artist Solutions.

    Job Responsibilities:

    1. Sales Enablement:

    • Work with sales team on deal structure and pitch for the new customers.
    • Work with regional leaders to map market in each region and identify right targets and work with sales team to adapt/adjust the offering
    • Standardise and create local process for the sales cycles across region & teams.
    • Ensure all teams have perfect understanding and alignment on Ops processes (sales, legal, finance, supply chain).
    • Enrol, follow, and support all new sales joiners in their onboarding stage and sales skills development.
    • Review, complete and adapt all training content to make it consistent with local culture and practices. 
    • Build specific training content or activities on pain points that need to be clarified.  
    • Prepare specific workshops to prepare deployment of Global programs.  
    • Serve as a point of contact for local sales teams and Central sales  team to identify issues and improve operational and execution efficiency.
    • Define, track the pre-sales KPIs as defined by local and central management.

    2. Go to Market:

    • Adapt, build, and deliver the go-to-market plan to ensure smooth deployment to all team members.
    • Prepare, animate, synthetize all deployment meetings with frontline sales functions.
    • Measure adoption of all processes/products, report result to local managers and central team and launch remedial initiatives if needed.
    • Enhance constructive feedback looping across local and central teams.
    • Assist the local business to normalize sales process, continuously optimize the sales team’s workflow.
    • Work closely with local and central sales team to define and achieve the agreed KPIs to increase the client’s satisfaction.

    3. Escalation process:

    • Serve as a primary point of contact to build and report sales escalation process to central team

    Qualifications

    • More than 10 years of proven track record in sales/pre-sales  and/or business operations in a fast-growing environment (technology, services, media, entertainment)
    • Experience working on a regional scope
