You shall be directly responsible for overseeing and supervising Catalog business activities and its teams to ensure that the business models are aligned with the company’s goals.
You will be responsible for hiring, training and developing support, marketing etc., functions which are essential to run and scale the Catalog business and be responsible to create and manage the Catalog business P&L.
You will have solid reporting to the Director – Artist Services & Label Catalog – India & South Asia.

As an Artist Relation Manager, you will lead and support the team in a constantly technological, strategical and mutating environment with changing processes and policies.
You will manage a portfolio of artists and execute our distribution services. You will make sure artists and their team will be satisfied of our distribution services.
In parallel, you will contribute to business development by identifying, sourcing and negotiating distribution deals with artists.
Thanks to a perfect understanding of our products and clients’ needs, a solid sales strategy, and an in-depth thinking of the music market you will be able to, achieve sales objectives and manage a portfolio of artists. You will directly report into the Head of Sales and Distribution Services.

Appui à l’élaboration des propositions de contrats
Appui à la décision du management du label concernant les nouvelles signatures et les renouvellements de contrats :
Accompagné par le contrôle de gestion, analyse de situations de comptes financiers
Elaboration des projections de revenus attendus sur un projet
Simulation de l’impact des investissements sur la rentabilité des projets
En collaboration avec le département légal et finance, élaboration des offres de contrats et suivi de la négociation avec avocats/producteurs :
Appui à l’élaboration des propositions de contrats
Etude de l’opérabilité des points commerciaux négociés et élaboration d’alternatives le cas échéant
Présentation et validation des conditions juridiques et financières au Top Management
Suivi et gestion du process administratif de signature
Validation des projections financières et conditions des deals auprès du Top Management sur l’outil Salesforce
Suivi et responsabilité de l’avancée du process administratif via nos différents outils internes :
Allers-retours sur le contrat : relance des parties prenantes, suivi de la négociation en collaboration avec le Legal, mise à jour des conditions et validation éventuelles, etc.
Préparation de la signature
Gestion de la facturation des avances

TuneCore’s Artist and Partner Relations team works with our artist community, DSP and industry partners, and internal teams to provide best-in-class digital distribution. Reporting to the Manager of Artist & Partner Relations, the Content Specialist, will join our team and help drive the company’s commitment to independent artists and labels.
Job Purpose:
The Content Specialist role plays a crucial part in maximizing the visibility and impact of our artists’ music across digital platforms. This position focuses on advocating for our artists’ content with our Partners, and securing placements and promotional opportunities while supporting the goals of the Artist and Partner Relations team and TuneCore at large. Central to our mission, this role supports artist development and our label clients.
By leveraging strategic insights and data, developing impactful relationships, providing tailored pitches, and monetizing audio with Content ID, the Content Specialist directly contributes to enhancing our artists’ digital footprint and audience reach. Central to our mission, this role supports artist development and our label clients by identifying and securing the best possible programming for optimal exposure on our partner platforms. The ultimate goal is to help elevate our artists’ profiles and add to their overall development.
In this role, you will also support the Sr. Manager, Artist and Partner Relations, in areas they work within, including artist and partner relations, release strategies and success, brand marketing collaborations, and more.
Independent music industry landscapes are constantly evolving. The successful Content Specialist will demonstrate accountability and ownership through proactive communication, commitment to results, and a problem-solving mentality to ensure their success and client satisfaction.
You will organize priority releases and assets for submission to partner platforms and branded promotions, and coordinate playlisted and featured release tracking. You will manage asset requests and deliveries across stakeholders for ongoing and one-off projects, and maintain client and partner databases, and label clients in TuneCore Studio.
What you’ll bring:
Passion for Independent Music and Industry Knowledge: A genuine passion for music and a deep understanding of the digital music ecosystem, including how DSPs and social media platforms operate, artist marketing, and the challenges faced by independent artists and labels. A desire to make a positive impact on our artists’ careers.
Strong Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills. You will need to articulate the unique value of an artists’ music compellingly and clearly to DSPs, as well as communicate skillfully with internal teams, partners, artists, and clients.
Strategic Mindset: The ability to effectively collaborate on the development of trade marketing strategies that align with both client and company goals. This includes understanding and keeping current on programming, promotional and feature opportunities, changes to DSP and social media platforms, and leveraging data to make informed pitches.
Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong, healthy relationships with TuneCore’s teams, partner representatives, artists, and clients. This role requires someone who is personable, responsible, and capable of nurturing long-term partnerships.
Organizational Skills: Have strong planning and scheduling skills to ensure successful pitching and cross-team collaborations. Effective task, time and information management skills are paramount, as is attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

Piloter au quotidien des projets de sortie d’albums et contribuer au succès des artistes que vous représentez.
Gérer la relation au quotidien avec les producteurs et artistes pour exécution des services et les conseiller au mieux dans les enjeux du quotidien.
Être force de proposition sur la stratégie et politique d’acquisition commerciale et renouvellement du catalogue ou du roster
Finance : spreadsheet et projections financières (rentabilité)
Vous avez une expérience de 3/4 ans dans la distribution de musique urbaine, de préférence dans une structure artiste / label, et avec de solides connaissances du fonctionnement de la production et distribution d’albums de musique.
Au cour de votre carrière vous avez développé un réseau dans le milieu urbain auprès d’artistes, managers, producteurs, avocats, publishers, tourneurs et vous êtes reconnu votre capacité à accompagner les artistes dans leur projet au quotidien.
Vous avez d’excellentes aptitudes pour la communication et la mise en place de relation de confiance. On dit de vous que vous êtes autonome, organisé et force de proposition.
Vous avez un niveau d’anglais courant.
