TuneCore is looking for a results-driven Artist Account Growth Specialist with a focus on client conversion and revenue generation. The Artist Account Growth Specialist will focus on engaging and growing relationships with existing TuneCore artists, helping them maximize their growth and explore new opportunities within our platform. In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting high value artists into TuneCore’s account management program, and TuneCore Accelerator program, ensuring they experience seamless and impactful music distribution services through our artist development program.
You will actively drive sales by identifying new opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients, and successfully onboard them to the success program and their catalog to the TuneCore platform. Working closely with the Artist Success and Support teams and other internal departments, you’ll secure high-value and high potential accounts, ensure their successful onboarding, and contribute to their ongoing success with TuneCore’s digital distribution platform.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a proven track record in sales and client acquisition, ideally within the music, entertainment, or tech industries.
You will be in a client-facing role that encompasses the following responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Sales Development: Identify and qualify existing and new high-value and high potential TuneCore artists through targeted outreach, networking, and research.
Client Acquisition: Engage with prospective clients, present TuneCore’s services, and convert leads into paying customers.
Sales Process Management: Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to onboarding.
Relationship Building: Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at independent record labels, independent artists, and other stakeholders in the music industry to foster growth and retention.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with the Artist Success and Support, Marketing, and Operations teams to develop tailored sales pitches, marketing materials, opportunities and sales strategies that meet the needs of target clients.
Sales Reporting & Analytics: Track and report on sales activities, including lead conversion rates, revenue generation, and account performance. Analyze sales data to refine strategies and optimize results.
Onboarding Support: After closing sales, collaborate with the Artist Success/Support team to ensure smooth onboarding and ensure clients are set up for success with TuneCore’s platform and services.
Market & Industry Insights: Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging music distribution technologies to better address client needs and drive sales strategies.
Client Acquisition Focus: Strong track record of building and converting leads into customers, particularly in B2B or B2C environments.
Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities with the confidence to pitch TuneCore’s services to a wide range of potential clients.
Tech-Savvy: Highly proficient with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk), sales enablement tools, and digital content management platforms. Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
Sales Motivation & Goal-Oriented: Self-starter with a results-driven mindset and the ability to meet and exceed sales quotas consistently.
Problem-Solving & Objection Handling: Ability to handle objections and find creative solutions that meet clients’ needs while closing sales.
Collaborative Team Player: Comfortable working across different teams (Sales, Marketing, Artist Success/Support) to optimize client engagement and ensure successful outcomes.
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the digital music distribution space, streaming platforms, and challenges faced by independent artists. Familiarity with music metadata and industry trends is a plus.

BA/BS Degree preferred
Knowledge/Certifications:
Knowledge of the digital distribution and the digital music space, and common issues facing music professionals preferred.
Knowledge and experience in social media platforms
Proactive, energetic attitude with a desire to work in a results-oriented environment.
Salary: $63,700-90,000 USD

As a Business Developper you will implement the sourcing and acquisitions strategy for artists on our Distribution and Artist Services Offers.
Utilizing your network, market analysis, business and artist relations, you will be able to source and identify artists who would require any of our Distribution or Artist services. Carrying out first discussions with the artists and their management, you will be able to identify their needs and share the perfect offer with your local head of sales or artist services. You will participate in the contract negotiation and coordinate the transfer of the artists to our project management or artist relations team.
Responsibilities:
1/ Identify new and emerging artist leads
Contribute to company growth by sourcing new artists leads for the Believe roster in the MENA region with a main focus on Egyptian & GCC Markets, Pop & Rap genres.
Scan public websites, charts companies, Believe proprietary database and third party analytics tools to identify the right talents
Attend meetings, gigs, showcases, conferences and other events to represent Believe and scout for new leads in Egypt mainly.
Source through your existing network and build partnerships with a network of talent detection third parties
2/ Qualify artists potential, and align service offerings with their needs and expectations
Assess artists potential, estimate deal value and collect artists information to populate CRM activity
Build knowledge of company’s different types of deals to cater to the artists’ needs
Manage and update strong sales pipeline on the company’s CRM system on a daily basis
Present opportunities to your local internal team and coordinate with Head of label and Artist Solutions and Artist Services to validate deal offers that align with Believe’s commercial strategy and regional expansion goals.
Carry out meetings with prospective clients to pitch our services and follow up through negotiations until signing.
3/ Support the development of a growing local artist roster by facilitating cross-collaboration projects and pitching local talents to Believe’s Global A&R team to facilitate international project collaborations.
4/ Identify Market Trends and market dynamics and report to management
Audit and identify emerging Artists market trend
Inform internal team about market evolution
Build strong relationships with artists, management and the local industry (music lawyers etc.)
+7 years of proven track record in the MENA recorded music industry and experience in negotiation
A solid network in the music industry, especially in Pop & Rap genres
Artist focused and passionate about the Independent Music Industry with a good knowledge of the independent ecosystem and digital landscape.
Ability to be both creative and data driven.
Ability to meet deadlines, targets and multitask in a fast-paced environment with a proactive attitude.
Extremely digital savvy and quick to adopt trends.
Strong relationship building skills and team-oriented approach.
Available to work some evenings and to travel internationally as may be required.
Fluent English is mandatory to succeed in your role as part of a global company. French can be a plus.
Ability to understand numbers and data efficiently and experience in working with sales projections and deal valuations.
Solid financial analysis skills, including understanding of key profitability metrics and KPIs.
Ability to interpret and model financial data to support decision-making.
