Customer Reporting Specialist

The Job

Believe is looking to hire a Customer Reporting Specialist team member to deal with Customer reporting to both Believe’s artists and labels in LAS (Labels and Artist’s solutions). The position will be based in the Mumbai office and is part of the Finance Operations Department, reporting to the Finance Operations Senior Leader in Believe Mumbai office and working closely with customer reporting team based in France office. The member would work with the objective of operating payments to all labels and artists worldwide, with high quality of service.
 

The candidate would be expected to perform the Level 2 support in which the daily missions would include:
 

  • Management of the entry, monitoring, and control of the royalty amounts of advances contractually offered to our producers (Labels and artists) in the tools.
  • Handling complaints and/or questions from our clients about their royalty statements (royalties and advances)
  • Coordinate and Make sure to identify the source of problems with the help of other departments (Contracts, Supply Chain, Tech, Accounting, Management Control)
  • Able to do detailed analysis of royalty reports using tools such as CSV, Excel, EM Editor to calculate and make adjustments if and wherever necessary.
  • Daily assisting the Level 1 support team in English Language (French will be a Plus), in compliance with the defined SLAs by central customer reporting team.
  • In charge of communicating the statuses to the label managers or the level 1 support team so that they can respond to customers.
  • Participate in the contribution of the production of monthly KPIs and in the deployment and evolution of the internal systems for finance operations.

Qualifications

The candidate is expected to have the below qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience preferably in finance operations domain
  • Previous experience in a management consulting firm or any project department within a Tech or Media company would be preferred.  
  • Previous experience in Change management (act a facilitator on a day-to-day basis)  
  • Strong proven skills on Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Fluency in English mandatory, Excellent written and verbal communication skills  
  • Curiosity for the Tech & Media industries

GTM Manager (Go To Market)

The Job

Within the Operations, the aim of the regional Go To Market (GTM) Manager is to ensure all sales functions work efficiently by delivering best-in-class, efficient, timely and reliable local go to market strategies and sales Enablement. 

Thanks to a perfect understanding of our products, offers, value chain and processes, you will be able ensure that the group processes are correctly applied locally and provide regular feedback and propositions on how to improve and adapt to the local business.  

You will report to the BI & Sales Performance Leader for the Americas region, and will need be in strong relationship with the central office to build perfect alignment between local specificities and central directions 

Your mission: 

1. Ensure Smooth local go to Market across Sales offers, Process, Tools, Product Deployment  

– Participate in design of process, product and escalate local needs   

– Adapt, build and deliver the Go To Market plan to ensure smooth deployment to all team members   

– Prepare, animate, synthetize all deployment meetings with frontline sales functions   

– Measure adoption of all process / product with and report result to local managers and central team  

– Enhance constructive feedback loop across local and central teams  

– Share at the central meetings the use cases and best practices of the territory  

2. Ensure Sales Knowledge Data base (Sales Enablement) 

– Review complete and adapt all training content to make it consistent with local culture and practices  

– Enroll follow and support all new sales joiners in their onboarding stage  

– Build specific training content if needed (not scalable) on pain points not understood by sales   

– Prepare specific workshop to prepare deployment of Global programs   

– Serve as a point of contact for sales people on operational question   

 3. Escalation Process   

– Serve as a primary point of contact to build and report sales escalation process to central teams 

Qualifications

  • ​​​​​​ 3+ years of experience in the similar position (operations or sales management)  
  • Proven track record of leading both strategic and operational cross-functional initiatives in a high-growth, performance-focused environment 

  • Project management skills and ability to mobilize cross-functional teams towards common goals  

  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, navigate challenging data sets, interpret data develop solutions, derive meaningful insights and craft high-quality executive presentations 

  • Deep experience in prioritization of deliverables and tasks  

  • Highly collaborative style with strong influence skills   

  • Extreme attention to detail (minimizing defects)  

  • Advanced Excel skills required, including PivotTables, data analysis, formulas, and data visualization. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Reporting into the Head of Insights, the Senior Insights Analyst will work within the Insights team to provide the business with data and insights on clients, suppliers and internal activity to shape services and strategy and support continuous improvement across the business.

This role is critical to the delivery and development of our research and insights internally, and externally, and in supporting our commercial offering, competitive positioning, and business strategy.

Job Description

  • Responsible for managing and tracking ad hoc data and analytics requests into the Insights Team; ensuring stakeholders at all levels are kept informed on the progress and any risks and issues clearly communicated.
  • Act as the project lead on select Insights projects particularly focused around supporting operational excellence across the business.
  • Work across the business to help establish data driven KPIs to assess company performance and empower teams and individuals with relevant insights to drive decision making and support continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a suite of enterprise reports and dashboards to improve availability and transparency of information across the business.
  • Collaborate with the whole business to translate business problems and strategic requirements into actionable Insights objectives.
  • Strive for maximum automation, standardisation and utilisation of reporting and insights in an easily digestible format.
  • Represent Sentric at industry events and seek opportunities to collaborate with the wider Music Industry on data issues and initiatives.
  • Potential for the role to expand to include line management responsibilities for junior analysts as the team expands.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience within a data analysis role, ideally within the music publishing industry.
  • Detailed understanding of music publishing copyright processes and related data would be desirable
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Results orientated.
  • Proven technical and problem solving skills.
  • The ability to present complex ideas in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects and delivering to deadlines.
  • Experience querying and extracting data from large and complex datasets using SQL
  • Working knowledge of BI solutions and data visualisation tools (PowerBI/Tableau/Looker)
  • Familiarity with Python or similar programming language would be desirable.
