The Job

Under the guidance of the Head of Group Controlling, you will be an integral part of a Retail controlling team of two, overseeing one person. Your role will be to lead process transformation and automation initiatives, ensuring efficiency and innovation in revenue reporting, to dive into developing business-oriented analyses, streamlining operational and closing activities to facilitate strategic decision-making.  

The Retail Senior Leader’s main tasks will be to 

Lead and facilitate the financial controlling the Group’s revenue:  

  • Supervise revenue and gross margin reporting, including financial statements preparation, reconciliation processes. 
  • Evaluate the company’s revenue performance by store and type of revenue, identifying trends and developing forecast models, and providing insights to support decision-making. 
  • Prepare and develop monthly revenue analytical report in collaboration with Retail, Data Analysis and Financial Operations teams, tailored for financial management/committee review. 
  • Process improvement: automate and standardize closing processes, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness across the retail scope. 
  • Team management 

Business Partnering : Support Global Digital Business and Data team in preparation and estimates of the new contracts and economic impacts 

Qualifications

You have a Master’s degree in business administration, finance, or engineering  with minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in Finance.  “Big 4” experience is an asset. 

  • Outstanding technical/conceptual understanding of finance and valuation  
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; strong analytical, report writing and communication skills.  
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English. 

During your work experience you have developed qualities such as :

  • Ability to build and leverage collaborative relationships in the business, by providing other Finance teams with support and advice where needed, as well as to probe and challenge information to gain better knowledge and insight into the business. 
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels and across functions; with Finance teams from a wide range of countries, requiring varying degree of support and guidance, as well as with Executive management team members. 
  • Strong attention to detail.  Enjoys problem solving, able to multitask and work to strict deadlines. 
  • Dedicated team spirit and initiative. 
  • Self-starter, self-motivation, adaptability, and positive attitude
