The Job
TuneCore is seeking a London-based Regional Coordinator to work across our local operations, reporting to the Head of TuneCore UK, Canada & Australia. This is a great opportunity for a driven, self-motivated individual to support the growth of a key TuneCore territory, at an exciting time for the business.
This person will be the main support to the Head of TuneCore UK, Canada and Australia, forming a nimble, proactive and ambitious team. They will be comfortable using an insights-led approach to allow us to reach ambitious growth targets for the UK, across client acquisition, brand awareness, artist support and Marketing. S/he will be comfortable working with Partners, running Artist + Marketing campaigns and also the TuneCore UK social media accounts – understanding voice and content creation, with a focus on brand guidelines and collaboration with TuneCore central.
S/he must have strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills, an entrepreneurial spirit and no fear rolling up his/her sleeves to get the job done. A passion for music and technology is a must, alongside an interest in the culture and movements around music and creators, particularly in the independent sector. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills are critical, as are strong relationship-building skills, with an ability to interact with people across all levels and cultures, internally and externally.
Tasks + Responsibilities
The tasks and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to
Managing, alongside the Head of territory, the local strategic growth plan for UK to meet local market needs, drive growth and increase market penetration
Help develop and implement local marketing campaigns and partnerships to accelerate client acquisition, build competitive advantage and grow brand awareness in the Region
Using a metrics-led approach, ensuring all activity is quantifiable
Research, analyse and identify local market trends and conduct local competitive analysis to improve TuneCore’s product offering, marketing initiatives and localisation strategy
Collaborate cross-functionally with Central Team on localisation of artist support, brand partnerships, marketing programs, PR initiatives and product launches
Build strong relationships with artists, management teams and partners
Run the local social media channels for the UK, from ideation, posting, community management and communications
Run analyses and reporting across all activity, providing actionable insights into metrics, issues and opportunities
Build concise presentations that summarise your findings and lead to clear recommendations, share your work cross-functionally
Lead specific projects from project design, to operational execution, tracking, and scale-up
Partnering with Product, Marketing and Business Development teams to localise websites including language, pricing, payment and market specific product offerings to meet local market needs and increase conversion.
Qualifications
Demonstrable experience in Marketing within the music industry
Knowledgeable and passionate about music and youth culture with a keen eye for emerging trends.
Digitally savvy with a good understanding of Performance and Brand Marketing
Ability to translate data into presentable insights
Analytical mindset with strong quantitative skills
Excellent visual, written and oral presentation skills
Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders globally
Exceptional communication and relationship building skills
Strong attention to detail with an ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask
A team player with a can-do attitude
Willingness to represent TuneCore at events across the UK
Fluent in English
Bachelor’s degree required
Additional Information
This role will be based out of the London, Believe office in Kings Cross. TuneCore operates on an in-office and remote hybrid model giving our teams flexibility and choice of how they work.
