MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
Within the Controlling department, you will join the Group Controlling team. Reporting to the Head of Group Controlling, you will work in a team of 5 people in a cross-functional position, giving you a global view of the Group’s activities.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
The Group Controller’s main tasks will be to:
Budget & Business Plan
- Support Budget revision and reforecast process with models and analysis required.
- Participate in Business Plan updates (Revenue, Margin, EBITDA, Cash-flow) collaborating with various departments (Controlling Business, M&A, Treasury and Consolidation teams)
Monthly Closing
- Ensure consistency of data reported by Controlling Business teams.
- Drive continuous improvement on revenue analysis to produce insights into performance.
- Prepare and develop monthly presentations and supporting schedules, together with key messages around performance.
- Prepare key strategic and adhoc analysis for Group Top Management, Comex members and the Board of Directors.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Master’s degree in business administration, finance or engineering
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Finance. “Big 4” experience is an asset.
- Outstanding technical/conceptual understanding of finance and valuation
- Excellent command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; strong analytical, report writing and communication skills.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
PERSONAL QUALITIES
- Ability to build and leverage collaborative relationships in the business, by providing other Finance teams with support and advice where needed, as well as to probe and challenge information to gain better knowledge and insight into the business.
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels and across functions; with Finance teams from a wide range of countries, requiring varying degree of support and guidance, as well as with Executive management team members.
- Strong attention to detail. Enjoys problem solving, able to multitask and work to strict deadlines.
- Strong team spirit and initiative.
- Self-starter, self-motivation, adaptability and positive attitude
