As Social Media Intern, you will support all aspects of social media marketing of the Nuclear Blast label and all related artists. You are interested in new challenges in marketing and new media and content creation are your core competencies. As an ideal candidate you are familiar with all varieties of the metal genre and have experience in working with/using social platforms (mainly Instagram and TikTok). 

Core missions would include:

Collaboration/Coordination:

  • Update Social team’s Trello with new releases
  • Source videos from Digital Marketing Managers and gather for weekly content brief
  • Delivering weekly briefs to our content creator/in-house
  • Deliver content to Digital Marketing team for approval 

TikTok/Trends/Influence:

  • Research TikTok trends with a view to repurposing for the label account
  • Hashtag research for Instagram + TikTok
  • Help to build database of brands, influencers and channels we can collaborate with (both socials and Spotify)

Reports:

  • Maintain weekly reports tracking NB social growth
  • Maintain weekly reports for Spotify playlists

Content ideas:

  • Maintain databases of editorial content + live chats for socials
  • Maintain and grow the On This Day database
  • Forecasting gaps in the social schedule and gathering assets / ideas for On This day posts

Creative:

  • Creating thumbnails / screen shots for social posts
  • Support in maintaining NB Spotify playlists
  • Input into content creation for TikTok / younger generation 

Qualifications

  • Related experience and/or training
  • Team spirit!
  • Knowledge of the metal genre, artists and record labels
  • Strong knowledge of social media and social campaign strategies
  • Understanding and working experience with analytical instruments on social media (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook)

  • Knowledgeable about social trends

CSR & Engagement Specialist/Manager – Europe

As CSR & Engagement Specialist you will report to the Group CSR & Engagement Director. Within the CSR & Engagement team, you will work closely with the CSR & Engagement Specialists for the Americas and APAC regions, as well as with the Central and European HR and Communication teams. You will have the following missions:

Structuring, consulting, best practices

–  Contribute to the definition of our CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) policy and to the deployment of structuring programs for the Group and priority actions, in particular in the areas of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), gender equity (training, gender index, monitoring of objectives, etc.) and well-being.

–  Contribute to the definition and implementation of best practices/ambassador guidelines and governance at Group level, and in particular for the Believe for People/Parity network.

Deployment and support in Europe

– Define and deploy the CSR roadmap in Europe (objectives, initiatives, monitoring), in coordination with local managers, business teams and the HR network and our various stakeholders in the different countries in Europe (mainly UK, France, Germany, Italy, Eastern Europe…)

–  Contribute to the deployment of internal surveys to measure the engagement and well-being of employees and support HR and managers in the analysis of results and the implementation of improvement actions, in coordination with People & Engagement manager.

– Participate in and implement initiatives that promote the employee experience and engagement (induction program for new employees, volunteer/CSR citizen day, etc.) in the UK, France and other countries in Europe

– Contribute to promote and develop initiatives in favor of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in Europe and coordinate partneships in Europe.

–  Animate the People / Parity  / Planet employees ambassadors network in Europe (increase the number of ambassadors and monitor/measure the quality and results of contributions)

–  Contribute to the CSR reporting and report (collection and writing of examples) and to the analysis of results and dashboards for Europe

Partnerships and Communication

–  Contribute to the CSR communication plan and activities in collaboration with People& Engagement specialist, the Talent Acquisition and Communication teams to build and promote a strong local employer brand through our CSR commitments

– Propose and coordinate partnerships in Europe and implement communication actions in coordination with the communication, business and HR teams, in order to promote our CSR policy and enhance the value of our teams, actions and results (internally and externally).

–  Contribute to the creation of content with the communication and HR team (articles, interviews/videos…)

Qualifications

You are passionate about CSR, diversity, equity and inclusion issues, enthusiastic about working on employee engagement, well-being and planet challenges, and eager to make a positive impact.

You have at least 5 years of experience in managing international projects around engagement, diversity and inclusion, and CSR and/or HR topics.

You are recognized for your ability to listen, synthesize and analyze quantitative and qualitative data.

You know how to structure ideas in order to build a concept and project.

You have excellent communication skills and are able to clearly articulate messages in English, both in writing and orally, to audiences at all levels of the company. You have a strong ability to facilitate workshops. Speaking French will be a plus.

Missions: 

1/ Team Management

The Job

Managing a wide range of artists across our growing frontline Rap / Dance roster, this role is tasked with creating, delivering and co-ordinating marketing and promotional campaigns for domestic and international releases.  

Working autonomously and as part of the Artist Services team, the Marketing Manager is in charge of co-ordinating releases and driving campaigns through to completion.  

Responsibilities include:

  • Strategic campaign planning and product creation
  • Liaising directly with artists and artist managements to deliver creative and successful campaigns
  • Working closely with the A&R team to coordinate product delivery and campaign timelines

The Job

As the senior global salesperson for Believe Electronic you will define and implement the sourcing and acquisitions strategy for labels & artists for our dedicated electronic division.

Utilising your network, market analysis, business, label, and artist relations, you will be able to source and identify labels & artists who would benefit from joining our electronic division. Carrying out first discussions with labels and artists and their management, you will be able to identify their needs and share the perfect offer with local heads of distribution and the local senior label manager. You will participate in the contract negotiation with the local team.

Responsibilities:  

1.     Identify key labels & artists globally as potential signings:

  • Contribute to company growth by sourcing label & artist leads for the Believe Electronic roster globally.
  • Develop Believe Electronic’ global strategy and how to tailor it to support key markets in their discussions with sales targets.
  • Develop key sales tools to enable both central and local teams to prospect new business.
  • Build education and training surrounding Believe Electronic sales approach, strategy, and service offer.

2.     Qualify label & artist potential, tailor offer to services expectations:

Head of Sync – UK (M/W)

The Job

 

Believe Sync is looking for a self-motivated and entrepreneurial individual based in London to source, negotiate and license sync placements for Believe’s catalogue and frontline roster, whilst simultaneously building Believe Sync’s overall presence in the UK market.

As Head of Sync you will be responsible for sourcing, developing and maintaining relationships with clients in the UK. Based in London with an existing network of Advertising, Film and Television contacts, you will also build and maintain relationships with clients in video games and other developing audio visual industries. You will also travel, with the aim of expanding Believe’s presence across the territory.

A passion for and knowledge of a wide variety of music is essential, as is an existing network of clients and an ability to work autonomously.

Job Role / Main Responsibilities  

Reporting to the Global Head of Sync, you will handle all day-to-day sync activity in the UK – including both creative and licensing work – and will be responsible for the departments’ success. You will continuously seek new business opportunities in the TV, film, advertising and video game industries and will work to promote the Believe UK catalogue to your international colleagues.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Sourcing, developing and maintaining business relationships with clients in the TV, film, advertising and video game industries.
  • Procuring, contributing to, and delivering creative pitches in the UK, as well collaborating with international colleagues on briefs and other creative work.
  • Handling quotes, approvals, and licensing for deals in the UK.
  • Developing and delivering new initiatives to explore emerging or under-served opportunities in the UK. 
  • Line management of junior UK sync team members. 
  • Designing, organizing, and delivering an appropriate sync marketing and PR strategy for Believe’s frontline roster and back catalogue.

  • Managing the flow of communication regarding UK releases to the wider international sync team.
  • License tracking and financial reporting for the UK sync business.

  • Significant experience working in sync; either at a label or publishing company, or through a music supervision role elsewhere.

Managing Director Finance & Operations – UK M/W

The Job

Main Role: 

  • You will be the second-in-command reporting to the MD and responsible for the efficiency of business.
  • You will oversee local strategy set by the MD and liaise with company headquarters in Paris. You will then define the best model to roll out and execute the strategy, in structuring the local organization and defining the relevant and efficient processes between local and central teams.

Main Responsibility: build, roll out and execute the local strategy from an operational standpoint

1 – Direct responsibility & reporting over support functions (Finance, HR & Legal)

 You will define and execute locally the central strategy and ensure that the correct resources are hired and the appropriate budget is dedicated to this execution.

You will ensure effective financial management, ensuring compliance with local rules and Group accounting and reporting principles. You will build new processes to increase the efficiency of local finance practices such as for example, accounting or expenses, ensure HR compliance with local rules (payroll, benefits) and contribute to the roll out and the execution of HR projects, tools and processes.

You will oversee the business legal topics to ensure the compliance with the local specificities.

2 – Responsibility of front-line operations (organizing the work of the front line teams)

Front line teams include 2 lines of business (Artist Services (AS) & Distribution (LAS)). You will have to implement the business strategy from an operational standpoint, define the processes which could be scalable to support the growth of the company.

You will have to develop and increase the business performance in setting some comprehensive goals and you will take some actions to increase our customer satisfaction rate as well as our margin.

3 – Responsibility of back end operations (organizing the link between local and central)

You will design some workflows to ensure consistency between the local and the central teams.

You will have to lead and improve back end operations which include the supply chain, rights and finance operations.

4 – Responsibility over M&A (deal negotiation, coordination & integration – in collaboration with MD and with strong support from the M&A central team)

You will support the MD or regional MD by selecting targets in line with Group M&A strategic /deal organization/ deal process guidelines, you will be part of the negotiation, but your main key role will be to manage the post-acquisition: you will have to integrate the new company, implement the process and workflows of Believe and roll out the new set up.

5 – Be a sparring partner with the MD or regional MD on strategy and finance:

 You will support the MD or regional MD in any strategic decision and will provide any KPI or tools which measure and assess the performances.

6 – Responsibility of product locally (organizing the link between local and central)

You will manage the delivery of the product locally to ensure that it complies with the central strategy.

Qualifications

You have minumum 10 years of experience and you are a senior executive with a broad international experience in Finance and Operations in a service, IT, digital or ecommerce company. You have previously operated in a Business Unit in a process driven environment. Strong leadership experience in a scale up company is a plus.

Experience in music industry is not required.
