Digital Marketing Manager

The Job

Managing a wide range of artist campaigns across our roster, this role is tasked with creating, delivering, and coordinating digital marketing campaigns for domestic and international releases.

Responsibilities include:

  • Strategic digital campaign planning aimed at delivering creative, innovative, and efficient digital advertising and social media campaigns as well as organic activations and strategic partnerships with digital platforms or DSPs
  • Leverage artist’s channels to grow audiences and increase engagement by implementing both organic activations and paid media campaigns
  • Advise artists, managers, and internal marketing teams on digital best practice
  • Analyse and interpret audience data to inform strategy and set KPIs
  • Work closely with the Project Managers to coordinate campaign timelines, deliverables, and budgets
  • Work closely with the Creative Content Producer to deliver digital campaign assets
  • Manage and monitor paid media budgets and work with the Central media buying team to deliver efficient paid media campaigns
  • Monitor KPIs and deliver monthly reports on digital marketing performance for internal and external stakeholders
  • Share case studies and best practices with local and global teams
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and performance drivers through data analysis and monitoring of global social media trends

  • Strong knowledge of social media and online promotion strategies
  • Understanding and working experience with advertisement and analytical instruments on each social media (Instagram, YouTube, Tik Tok, Facebook, etc.)
  • Extensive knowledge of the music market

  • Data-driven & results oriented: the ability to analyse and use data to optimize development

Artist Relations Manager, Pop/Alt. Pop

The Job

In Believe’s Artist Relations (Distribution) team you will be working closely with the Head of Artist Relations and be responsible for developing, growing, and managing a roster of Artist projects with a focus on distribution, release, and streaming strategy. You will report directly to the Head of Artist Relations and Head of Label & Artist Solutions in Believe UK’s Distribution Services team and work directly with Believe’s internal UK distribution and wider internal teams across Artist Scouting, Streaming Marketing, Analytics, Video, and Sync as well as interaction with TuneCore and our Artist Services’ Marketing, International, A&R, Digital Marketing departments.

Responsibilities

  • Day to day account management of a growing roster of UK artists focused, but not limited to Pop/Alternative-Pop genres.
  • Onboard and train clients to use Believe’s own tech solutions for distribution and marketing.
  • Support and advise clients on key campaign elements including promotion and streaming strategy.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all marketing and promotional material, and campaign updates to Believe’s internal streaming marketing and sync teams.
  • Maintain close relationships and communication with Artists, their management, and marketing teams to become an integral component of each artist project and their core team.
  • Identify and assist Believe UK’s scouting team in signing emerging and established artists into the fast-growing area of Artist distribution.
  • Work closely with and assist senior members of the Artist Relations team on high-level projects.
  • Attend meetings, gigs, showcases, conferences, and other events to represent Believe.
  • Feedback and contribute to the general development of the UK Label & Artist Solutions department.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in the music industry within a label, distributor, or management, is preferred but not required. Previous account management experience is a plus.
  • Passion for pop and alternative music, new artists, and good knowledge of the current UK and global music market and trends.
  • Extremely digital savvy and quick to adopt trends.
  • The ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and to timelines with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to the changing market.
  • Artist focused and passionate about the Independent Music Industry with a good knowledge of the independent ecosystem and digital landscape.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a team-oriented approach.
  • Creative interest in digital technologies and digital marketing opportunities especially the streaming landscape.
  • A diligent self-starter who is ready to learn and will also take the initiative

Senior A&R (Hip Hop)

The Job

We are looking for a passionate, ambitious Senior A&R (Hip Hop) to join our growing team. Based in London and reporting to the Head of Artist Services, this role is tasked with identifying top sales targets and new talent within the Hip Hop genre, executing sales strategy and managing the signing and A&R process.

Responsibilities: 

  • Identifying key targets and new talent within the UK Hip Hop scene
  • Scouting and signing artists for Believe UK’s Artist Services and Distribution roster
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with artists and managers
  • Managing the signing process
  • Managing artist relations and delivery of repertoire
  • Contributing to the domestic and global A&R strategy
  • Regularly attending gigs, showcases and industry conferences

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience with a proven track record in a similar role
  • An existing network in the UK Hip Hop scene
  •  Ability to work across a broad roster of artists
  • Excellent understanding of data analysis
  • Experience in managing budgets 
  • Good understanding of deal structures and contracts
  • Excellent communication skills, time management and attention to detail

The Job

1)  Marketing (65%)

A.    CRM: Client Newsletters management

Objective: Retain & secure our clients by proving the value we deliver

Main Tasks: Adapt central newsletter content for local market & create specific newsletter on local marketing and digital news

Frequency: 1 newsletter per month sent to all clients

B.     Clients Events

Objective: Raise awareness on Believe and drive engagement of prospects

Main Tasks:

  • Identify relevant local BtoB events
  • Define format of Believe participation (Panel, Keynote, workshop)
  • Prepare Believe speaker
  • Animate Booths  

Frequency: 3 participations per year (ex: Reeperbahn, Midem, MaMA, ADE, SXSW, Womex, Classical Next)​

KPIs: Participation rate for physical events – Number of views of digital events – Booth traffic

 

D.   Awards

Objective: Drive leadership position of Believe and highlight Believe music, tech & digital expertise

Main Tasks:

  • Participate in local key awards in the industry
  • Participate in local powerlist to raise the profile of our top execs

KPIs: 2 local or global participations per year (Ex: Billboard Power list, Social Music Awards (FR), Music Week Awards)

 

E.    PR:

Objective: Build/strengthen Believe awareness & reputation to generate sales

Main Tasks:  coordinate with a local PR Specialist/free-lancer and GM/GMO all local PR activities (new signings, Believe position in local charts, key partnerships, new signings, new releases…)

Frequency: at least 1 press release per month

KPIs: coverage in Tier 1 local trade media – 1 interview with GM / quarter (TBC)

 

2) Social media (35%)

Objectives

  • Build/strengthen awareness & reputation of Believe locally
  • Drive engagement of the key target audiences: artists, labels, managers, producers, partners, media etc

Main Tasks

Scope: Believe Instagram account (L&AS + AS) for Year 1

Social media animation + content Planning (harmonization of the marketing mix)

  • Frequency: min 3 posts per week (marketing innovations, new signings, new releases, success stories, marketing campaigns, digital retail news etc…)

Social media moderation & community management (incl. qualification of the audience)

  • Respond to around 20 requests per day

 

3) Monitoring & reporting (5%)

Monitoring & reporting of all local Social & marketing communication activities to central team (dashboard to complete on a monthly basis)

Qualifications

–      Min 3/4 years experiences in marketing communication

Head of Video UK & Audience Development

The Job

As a Head of Video & Audience Development, you will be responsible for a team of Channel Managers and lead the team to deliver our services. Thanks to a perfect understanding of our products and clients’ needs, a solid marketing strategy, and in-depth thinking of the music market, you will be able to build the best audience development strategy for our artists & labels and lead your team of Channel Managers.  

 

Missions: 

1/ Team Management 

  • Provide daily support to Channel Managers team on their important issues and ensure internal video processes application 

  • Onboarding and Training of new Channel Managers  

  • Ensure the highest level of expertise of the team with the latest industry best practices and internal new tools 

  • OKRs definition and monitoring, aligned with Regional Business Objectives and global VAD OKRs 

  • Work with the Global Head of VAD – LAS in order to help localize global strategies for the teams 

  • Ensure that all Channel Managers are available and participate in projects coming from the Global team 

  • Provide updates and solutions on issues with processes, internal tools or platforms to the Global Head of VAD 

2/ Audience Development 

  • Identify and monitor key metrics to optimize account performance across different DSPs & SoMe 

  • Develop and implement a content strategy across the Business Unit to ensure audience development and revenue growth

4/ Sales

  • Work with HoS to ensure client portfolio renewal

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience (Business, Marketing, Communication or any other related) 

  • Experience in team management and in the music industry 

  • Excellent written and oral communication in English 

  • Data-driven mindset and strong analytical skills 

  • YouTube CMS & Social Media experience 

  • Previous experience in DSPs is a bonus  

  • Structured, priority-driven and with the ability to multi-task and juggle various projects at the same time 

  • Passionate about music, social media and digital marketing
