Editorial & Marketing Partnerships Leader

The Job

As a EMP leader, part of our EMP team, your mission is to lead our relationships with our partners and guarantee quality of our front-line marketing initiative for our extensive catalogue. You will lead Trade Marketing activities for our Artist Services and Distribution departments with the promotion, process and coordination of artists and labels, with passion, innovation, care, and transparency.

You will manage the local EMP team and relationships with Digital platforms.


Your duties will include but not limited to the following

  • Leading and developing a team of EMP managers
    • With exemplarity and by sharing Believe’s driving forces in your daily relations and activities
    • Set guidelines, strategy, and objectives to improve and assess the team’s performance
    • Support your team by identifying improvement needs and providing appropriate training, mentoring, and coaching
  • Strategy lead
    • Conceive & implement internal communication process with Distribution and AS teams: educate & align our teams on digital best practices, the local streaming market, its trends & ecosystem
    • Supervise our artists streaming strategies and explore new ways to expand our catalogue’s visibility on DSPs
    • Maintain, within the local Trade Marketing team, a deep expertise on playlisting and artists promotion strategies on digital platforms
    • Report the Trade Marketing team results via performance analysis and KPIs overview
  • Promotion of our artists and labels
    • Develop and maintain close relationship with local contacts at digital platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, YouTube Music, TikTok, etc.)
    • Supervise our artists’ presentation & pitch to DSPs in listening sessions & meetings in order to develop their streams and revenues on digital platforms
    • Overview Trade Marketing local activities, from negotiation to creation and execution of innovative & creative marketing partnerships with digital platforms
    • Promote locally key International releases, in coordination with central Trade Marketing team


  • Fluent English is mandatory to succeed in your role as part of a global company. French can be a plus
  • You have a deep knowledge of the current music market landscape and trends, a solid network in the music industry is a plus
  • You have a proven track record in EMP and a strong interest in digital technologies and digital marketing opportunities
  • An experience in people management is a plus
  • You have the ability to work to deadlines and work under pressure, to be thinking strategic and to share your vision
