His journey at Believe shows how staying curious, cultivating new skills, and daring to take on new challenges can open doors to exciting and meaningful opportunities. In this new episode, he shares how each step shaped his growth and led him to the role he proudly holds today.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Sonia Jagourel]<\/strong> You started as a Scrum Master and are now a Transformation Manager. Can you walk us through your journey?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\r\n\r\n

\r\n\t\t

I first joined the company, 7 years ago, as a Scrum Master and Manager of a Finance engineering team, working on the calculation, reporting, and payment of royalties for our artists. It was the early days of agility at Believe, and there was both a lot to set up and many opportunities to experiment and innovate in how we organized our work on the Engineering side.<\/p>\r\n\t<\/blockquote>\r\n\r\n\t\t\t

Guillaume Zobel<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n

[Guillaume Zobel]<\/strong> Around four years ago, I took on the management of the Royalties & Payment tribe as Head of Engineering, which expanded my scope to include the management of sales reports provided by the stores and the buyout project of the financial solution for AS. It was also an opportunity to share and align practices at the tribe level. More recently, I wanted to focus even more on organizational challenges and therefore applied for the position of Transformation Manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Sonia Jagourel] What motivated you to take this opportunity?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Guillaume Zobel]<\/strong> One of the reasons I originally joined the company was the chance to bring together my technical and managerial experience while developing my skills in agility and ways of working. After several years experimenting in these areas, it became clear to me that the path of agility and coaching was the one I truly wanted to pursue. Taking this opportunity was therefore a very natural next step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Sonia Jagourel] How did the transition process go for you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Guillaume Zobel]<\/strong> From my perspective, the transition went smoothly. I was able to discuss it openly with my management, who supported the move and proposed solutions to make it possible. As for joining the new team, I had already worked with them on several occasions, which also increased my motivation to make the shift. And because many aspects of my previous role were similar to my new responsibilities, the transition felt quite seamless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Sonia Jagourel] Looking back, what were your biggest challenges and how did you overcome them?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Guillaume Zobel]<\/strong> Starting from a blank page and having to train myself in agility to provide relevant and well-adapted solutions. Also, continuously rethinking the organization and processes as the company evolved and the scope of my responsibilities expanded. Finally, taking ownership of an acquired solution, integrating it into our ecosystem, and building and training an offshore team to operate it and ensure service continuity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Sonia Jagourel] What are the key differences between your old and new role\/team?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Guillaume Zobel]<\/strong> The biggest difference lies more in scale than in nature. Today, I have to approach topics from a much broader, cross-organizational perspective, both in terms of strategic thinking and the way solutions are deployed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Sonia Jagourel] Have there been any standout moments or accomplishments you\u2019re particularly proud of?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Guillaume Zobel]<\/strong> Beyond the challenges I overcame, I\u2019m especially proud of having built and supported several teams that successfully delivered impactful projects, such as our first financial data-visualization dashboards or the pre-generated financial reporting solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Sonia Jagourel] What are you most excited to learn or contribute in this new role?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Guillaume Zobel]<\/strong> I really appreciate being able to focus deeply on a topic, much more than I could in my previous role. I value working with a team of passionate people who challenge my ideas and help refine them. I\u2019m genuinely excited to keep learning how to design and deploy solutions at scale, with a meaningful impact on the company and its employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Sonia Jagourel] How does this move align with your career goals?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Guillaume Zobel]<\/strong> When I joined the company, I already had the ambition to move toward coaching and guidance roles. The past few years gave me the opportunity to explore this path and confirm my interest. This transition is fully aligned with the career direction I have chosen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Sonia Jagourel] What advice would you give to colleagues considering an internal move?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Guillaume Zobel]<\/strong> First, stay connected to what motivates you and to where you want to go. Then, don\u2019t hesitate to discuss your aspirations with your manager and HR. They will help challenge your ideas, anticipate the mobility process, and support you with your next steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\r\n\r\n
