The<\/strong> Job<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Operational Insights Analyst will play a central role within Sentric’s Operational Insights team, sitting within the Revenue Optimisation Department. This role sits at the intersection of music data analysis and data architecture: you’ll maintain data structures and conceive of pipelines and models that power reporting on Royalties and Rights, while also delivering analysis tools and insight that helps drive operational efficiency. You’ll work closely with the Rights, Royalties and Insights teams as both a creator of trustworthy data foundations and a translator of that data into business decisions.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Support revenue assurance activities by tracing discrepancies back through both source data and transformation logic.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Partner with the Royalties, Rights and Insights teams to translate business and audit questions into robust, reusable data structures rather than one-off queries.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Assist in tracking and following up on audit outcomes and contribute to the development and refinement of revenue assurance frameworks and methodologies.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Working alongside senior team members, contribute to the build and maintenance of data models and transformation pipelines that convert raw rights, royalty and catalogue data into clean, analysis-ready tables in AWS and Snowflake.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Provide input on schema design for reporting layers, applying database normalisation principles, primary\/foreign key relationships and referential integrity across datasets.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Build and maintain ETL\/ELT pipelines that move data from source systems and royalty statement feeds into Snowflake, via AWS S3 and Athena.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Write and troubleshoot SQL and Python-based transformations to process royalty and usage datasets, developing a growing focus on performance and efficiency over time.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Build, maintain and iterate on dashboards and reports (e.g. Power BI, Tableau or Looker) on top of curated, well-modelled data.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Evaluate and pilot AI-assisted data tooling (e.g. AI-generated reports) to accelerate insight delivery where appropriate.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Support engineering\/product teams on upstream schema or system changes, by helping to investigate and flag downstream impact on data models and reporting.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
