This position is essential for ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and safeguarding our organization against risks such as corruption, trade sanctions, and data privacy issues.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in strengthening Believe\u2019s global compliance framework, with a particular focus on third-party risk management, anti-corruption, international sanctions, compliance controls and operational compliance projects.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The position is based in India at our Mumbai office and would be reporting locally to the Head of Customer Finance and Legal Operations and with a central reporting to the Group Risk &amp; Compliance Director based in Paris headquarters.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>KYC-KYB &amp; Third-Party Management<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><p>Conduct thorough due diligence on third parties to meet regulatory standards, including onboarding, identity verification, bank details checks, due diligence and ongoing monitoring.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Support the design and implementation of risk-based workflows, controls and escalation processes for third parties.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Conduct beneficial ownership checks for higher-risk third parties.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Improve data quality, documentation standards and auditability of third-party compliance records.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Anti-Corruption and Business Integrity<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><p>Contribute to the implementation of action plans arising from corruption risk mapping and compliance risk assessments.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Design, document and monitor practical controls relating to gifts and hospitality, conflicts of interest, third-party engagement, donations, sponsorships and other relevant risk areas.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Prepare clear guidance, training materials, compliance memos and executive-ready presentations.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>International Sanctions and Restricted Parties Screening<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><p>Support the implementation and continuous improvement of sanctions screening and monitoring.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Help assess higher-risk situations and ensure appropriate escalation where required.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Monitor relevant sanctions developments and support updates to internal policies and training materials.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Ensure sanctions-related decisions are properly documented.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Data Privacy Support<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><p>Support the Legal &amp;
