The<\/strong> Job<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n

Role overview:<\/strong>
\nWe are looking for a seasoned controlling leader to own and steer HR and Central
\nPlatform Opex Controlling globally, with a particular focus on our Tech and Product
\norganizations. Based in our Mumbai hub, you will operate as a key member of the
\nextended leadership team, working closely with senior stakeholders in France and India
\nwhile leading a four\u2011person team split across both countries.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The role spans all people\u2011related and central platform operating expenses, with a clear
\ncenter of gravity on technical and platform controlling (product and operations, tech
\ninvestments, and cloud platforms), which account for the majority of our central platform
\nspend.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

You will be the primary finance partner to Tech, Product, and HR leadership on all HR
\nand central platform Opex topics \u2013 shaping investment decisions, challenging
\nassumptions, and providing clear, data\u2011driven recommendations that influence the
\ncompany\u2019s strategic roadmap.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Key responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

  • Own end to end HR and central platform Opex controlling for: people costs,<\/li>
  • external workforce, cloud and infrastructure, and other central operating<\/li>
  • expenses.<\/li>
  • Lead the annual budget, forecasts, and multiyear plans for this perimeter,<\/li>
  • ensuring alignment with product and technology roadmaps and overall company<\/li>
  • strategy.<\/li>
  • Act as the primary finance partner for Tech and Product leaders on product<\/li>
  • roadmaps and platform initiatives: build and challenge business cases, model<\/li>
  • ROI and payback, and track delivery versus plan.<\/li>
  • Drive deep technical controlling of cloud and platform spend: monitor usage and<\/li>
  • commitments, analyze unit economics and cost drivers, and identify optimization<\/li>
  • and savings opportunities in partnership with engineering and platform teams.<\/li>
  • Manage headcount and FTE planning across locations (internal and external),<\/li>
  • consolidating hiring plans, org changes, and workforce strategies into coherent<\/li>
  • financial views.<\/li>
  • Oversee month end closings for the scope (accruals, provisions, capitalizations,<\/li>
  • allocations, reclasses) in line with Group accounting and controlling policies.<\/li>
  • Design, automate, and continuously improve management reporting,<\/li>
  • dashboards, and KPIs that give clear insight into HR and Opex performance for<\/li>
  • senior stakeholders.<\/li>
  • Partner with HR on compensation review cycles, incentive plans, workforce<\/li>
  • programs, and organizational design topics, providing robust financial analysis<\/li>
  • and scenarios.<\/li>
  • Lead, coach, and develop a distributed team of controllers (Mumbai and France),<\/li>
  • setting clear objectives, ways of working, and a culture of ownership and<\/li>
  • continuous improvement.<\/li>
  • Contribute to global Controlling and HR projects (tools, processes, data quality,<\/li>
  • standardization) and share best practices across entities.<\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n


    \nCandidate profile:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

    • 12\u201315 years in FP&A\/controlling with at least several years in tech, digital<\/li>
    • product, or platform driven environments.<\/li>
    • Demonstrated experience where at least 50\u201370% of your controlling scope was<\/li>
    • technical\/platform: product portfolio or roadmap controlling, tech investment<\/li>
    • business cases, cloud\/infrastructure\/platform cost management.<\/li>
    • Strong background in HR and Opex controlling: people cost and external<\/li>
    • workforce, operating expenses, and cost optimization across central functions.<\/li>
    • Proven experience partnering with senior nonfinance stakeholders (CTO, CPO,<\/li>
    • CHRO, Engineering and Product heads) and influencing decisions through<\/li>
    • data driven insights.<\/li>
    • Prior experience leading small to midsized finance teams, ideally across multiple<\/li>
    • locations; comfortable managing direct reports in India and France.<\/li>
    • Excellent communication, synthesis, and storytelling skills; able to translate<\/li>
    • complex technical and financial topics into clear, actionable messages.<\/li>
    • Experience in multinational organizations, ideally partnering with Europe based<\/li>
    • leaders.<\/li>
    • Advanced Excel\/Google Sheets; strong user of planning\/ERP tools and BI<\/li>
    • (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).<\/li>
    • Fluent in English; French is a plus but not mandatory.<\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
